Amazon Essentials Men's Classic-Fit 9" Chino Short

I have purchased several pairs of these Amazon Essentials shorts and am happy with all of them. They seem to be high quality and they look nice. I have a 32 waist, and the size 32 shorts fit perfectly. The bottom of the shorts is just above my knees, which is the way I like it. The brown khaki color allows me to enjoy the comfort of shorts while looking a little bit dressier than athletic shorts. There are two deep side pockets and two back pockets with button closures. I highly recommend them.

The shorts seemed to be decent quality; they were just a little small. Nothing wrong with the product, just didn't work for me.

Decent pair of shorts for the price. Runs slightly small in the waist and tight in the thighs.

I've been searching for the last year or so for good shorts with either velcro or buttons on the back pockets. I like carrying my big wad of cash in my back pocket so I want to make sure the roll of 20s don't fall out when I sit down somewhere. I've been buying Docker brand shorts for many years, but they no longer make their dress shorts with secure back pockets. This being Arizona where most of the year it's luke warm to hot weather you really need a bunch of shorts to wear near year-round.So I thought I'd try these Amazon branded ones, and bought a size 32 with a 9" inseam in the cheapest color they had just so I could try them out (color teal for around $13). This way if I didn't like them even after breaking them in and washing them it wouldn't be a great financial loss.Packaging is easy and generic: inside a simple plastic bag and a small tag. No stickers, nothing else to have to remove. Just take out of the bag and remove the simple, generic, barcode tag.I noticed that the stitching was solid with sturdy thread, unlike a lot of other brands that cost twice as much and yet seem to scrimp on the thread. These feel very well made. The buttons are solidly stitched on as well and should last a long time without falling out. Zipper runs up and down very well also.When I first put them on I thought the inseam might not be the short 9" that I prefer because it felt like it was a tad too long and was rubbing the back of my thighs, which really annoys me, hence my desire to always buy shorts with the shortest inseam. Well, I almost returned them at this point, but thought, "what the heck, for $13 I'll wear them some more and give them a try". Well, after a couple of hours of wearing them and walking around all over the place the hem softened up enough that it no longer bugs me by rubbing against the back of my thighs. So that's definitely a plus for me!I started to give these a one star downgrade for the only nit I have against these shorts: the front pockets seem to be about 1/2" to 1" shorter than I prefer. I would prefer to have the pockets be just a little bit deeper, in which case I'd give them a solid five stars. But because of this, I'll give them 4.51 stars and just round up for the overall very good quality and really good price. They're not quite Docker's quality, but they come close. The only difference, besides the pockets being a little bit shallower, is that while the cloth material is pretty thick (compared to many other brands I've bought over the years), it's still a fraction of a mill less heavy cloth than Docker's.So buy them if you want to try out something different that's nearly as good as top end brands, but costs a third of the price. But if you carry a big wallet in your front pocket then maybe not. But my Samsung Galaxy S21 does fit well in my front pocket along with my smallish wallet. I just wouldn't recommend carrying two big items in the same front pocket.PS I'm going to buy a few more of these to replace my worn out Docker's

Shorts run about 1 size smaller than normal size but otherwise nice shorts!

These are every bit as good as Sonoma from Kohl’s, they’re hard to tell apart. But they do run a size small, I normally wear 34 but had to get 36 in these and they are not super loose or falling down, they fit the way 34’s normally would for me.

Me gustó bastante la tela es gruesa y de calidad de la cintura creí que seria un poco estirable como cualquier pantalon pero no así que hay que saber pedir la talla yo uso 29 a 30 lo pedí 29 y me quedo perfecto el color se ve más clarito en la imagen y ya cuando lo tienes se ve opaco el color y lo digo por que acaba de ver un pantalón como el que muestra la imagen y al ver la bermuda se veía más apagada el color caqui.

These shorts arrived really fast. They are made of a good material. The seams seem to be well sewn. They fit perfectly to size, im a 38 and they fit me exaclty as a 38 should. The only problem i have is the leg is a little short, as im used to wearing little longer at the knee or just past the knee. These shorts fit just above my knee, which is ok cuz i plan on wearing them with casual dress shirts which maches the look and style of them. I am also surprised at the quality from them cuz theyr amazon essential shorts. So overall i am pleased and happy with my new shorts. I actuallly ordered another pair from amazon essential in grey. So yes i would recomend these shorts and yes id order from amazon essentials again. The value is priced awsomly for these shorts. If your reading this...order a pair and see for your self, if your not happy you can always return them.

Buying pants without trying them on will always likely be hit or miss but I am a 32 waist just like I was in high school many moons ago.These 32s were extremely short and super tight so I couldn’t even consider doing up the zipper at that point and gave up trying. To bad cause I loved the style! and the price was very fair.I won’t be buying another set because I’m not even sure if one or even 2 sizes up would work out so I am going to move on and find something similar.Darn!

El demasiado ancho, la tela tampoco se siente especialmente bien y no parece un talla 34 sino un 36. Entiendo que es un short económico, pero por este precio Volcom & Goodthreads dan opciones del mismo precio y mejor calidad.
