This thing is awesome! Safe, super easy to use and rechargeable! Does almost everything a regular lighter can do but never run out of butane! Charges with USB-C you're set for life (or until USB-D). I use it to light an alcohol lamp, and a butane stove, it lights both instantly. And the ignition tip is at the end of a long bendable stick which makes it even more convenient than a regular lighter. Somewhat surprisingly, it even lights cigarettes! Unfortunately I can't give an honest review for longevity, hopefully the battery lasts! I don't mind having to recharge it every few uses. So far I've used it 10+ times and the battery indicator has not gone down. It seems very safe too because you have to position the thing you want to light in between a small gap, it seems almost impossible to ignite something unintentionally.

For the price, I wasn't expecting much. But the price it why I gave this a try in the first place. Someone had already given me a zippo style plasma lighter a few years back, but it was underwhelming and didn't seem to last long on a charge (and charging was annoying via the crappy usb micro port). ANYWAY, this product is an advancement in every way. It charges through our usb C cords, though I can't remember the last time I had to bother charging one. It also kicks out a strong spark, and hasn't failed to light anything we've tried it on. We use it for the grill, camping stoves, candles, and paper for starting fires. I misplaced the second one until just yesterday, when I realized I had put it away in our camp bin well over a year ago. It was still charged and ready to go. And that flexible neck is just icing on the cake, it makes lighting gas under grates so much easier. Can't recommend this enough.

Works as advertised and it was a fair price. The battery is kind of punny. Sometimes it goes from 100% to 0% lighting just 2 jar candles, but that's not a real big deal, I guess. They charge back up pretty quickly

WOW ... I really like this Arc Lighter. I never used one before, so I was not sure what to expect. It didn't take long to wonder why I waited so long to purchase one. They are so easy to use, they take very little time to charge, the battery holds for a long time, no flame to worry about, the arc is perfect for all types of uses, the goose neck is great for lighting in all situations, there is no noise, it is comfortable to hold and looks great in appearance. Can you tell I really like this product. I just purchase two more for both of my sons for their families to use.

I am in my mid 80s. I could not use those other lighters as it took two positions to make it work! I tried the arc lighter this morning and couldn’t believe how quick and easy it lit a candle with two wicks. You have created a great product for elderly people. I’m spreading the word about them. Thanks.

Not actually rechargeable. They work great, but when the charge is done, they're done. So they're basically disposable, which makes them kind of expensive. UPDATE: They won't charge from the small charging blocks that I use for my phone, earbuds, tablet, etc., but they WILL charge from my 65 watt laptop charger! Why something so small would need so many watts, I have no idea, but I'm raising my rating from 1 star to 3.

Worth the money. Should have bought it earlier. Highly recommend it
