JCs WildlifeEnclosed Bluebird Feeder 2.0

This is the third bluebird feeder that I have purchased, and by far the absolute best! My other two feeders had two large of holes and allowed all of the starlings in to devour all of my mealworms, which are very expensive! I was worried about previous reviews, stating that the bluebirds had a difficult time getting in, but it did not take mine long at all. I am so excited, now I have a family with five little babies visiting several times a day. I have turned into one of those crazy bird ladies that I used to make fun of!

However, I took off one of the clear sides to make it easier for the birds to find it. So far I have not returned that side to the feeder. It seems fine as it is. Some birds that are slightly larger get mealworms there, too, but no annoying big birds, so I've left that side open. Lazy me. But I have found in the past that Bluebirds sometimes find those enclosed feeders less easily found, or less attractive. Whatever, it's a fine feeder. Oh, and I overfill and let the one clear side that's still attached, to have more birdfeed piled up against it. Those little cups just don't seem big enough for the number of bird visiters I have to the feeder.

Can't get bluebirds to come

This is a very well made feeder. Unfortunately my birds seem to have their favorites and have yet to use it after 2 weeks. I'll move it away from my other feeders. If that doesn't attract my regular small birds maybe I'll try filling it with meal worms and see if I can attract some bluebirds this spring.

Just received it and put it up. It is beautiful. I did put a bungee cord around it to keep the squirrels out. Hopefully that helps

Nice quality and easy cleaning. Adjusting the bluebirds to it by taking out one side panel. They are using it currently this way and I am going to put the side panel back on in the next couple of days.

This bluebird feeder is sturdy and well made. The top lifts up and the feeding cups come out which makes it easy to clean. I will definitely order from this company again.

I really like this bird feeder. It is sturdy and seemed like it would be fun to watch the birds fly in and out of it. But after several months, they don't like it and don't even go in. One bluebird flied in and couldn't get out, but then finally did. We even put a wood piece in the openings so that they would have a perch by the holes going in and then one to be on to find the hole to go out...they still don't fly in. I was so excited to purchase it, but very disappointed because it cost a lot more than I thought I should spend but wanted the bluebirds to have a good feeder free of squirrels. I was disappointed.
