I purchased this for my black Lab Norman who is usually nuts about anything Chuckit - as am I!But sadly, this didn't quite live up to the hype.It's a great size, well constructed and an easy to spot colour. But it doesn't fly very far, hence the drop in rating.Norman enjoyed playing with it and threw it around, but he soon returned to wanting the ball thrown.For a dog who loves frisbees and those types of toys, I think this would be a great addition to their toy collection but it didn't hold Norman's attention and I don't think will be something he'll play with often. But every dog is different and I can see this being a hit with frisbee mad hounds.Bottom line - sadly, I wouldn't buy this again.

Don't buy this. It's a waste of money unless you have a small dog. Absolutely devastated it doesn't even go far. Youtubed and researched. Both me and the partner agree we may as well of thrown money in the bin.

My dog quickly destroys every toy, but she sure does love the way this toy flies, the mouth grips. The various disk competitors do not fly as well and are more difficult for her to pick up. (Noticed that this new flying squirrel is shorter on all sides than the one previously purchased. Doesn't fly as well as well on Stiller air as did that slightly bigger one. Still,) GREAT VALUE for all the joy it brings the dog.

I purchased this as a replacement for one I had brought back from Canada for our Collie.She loves her throw toys and has several different types.This one is easy to throw and easy for her to catch without hurting her mouth. She will carry it with her on her walks.Her original toy came to its end when she was bored one day and chewed through the rim taking off one of the "feet".It is light. durable, it floats and the feet are luminous if left for a while under a light source.It isn't designed for use at night for a long period of time as the luminosity fades and it isn't meant to be chewed!In summary, it is an excellent throw toy that is light. easy to throw, easy for my dog to catch and retrieve from the river.Just don't expect it to be a chew toy.

I rarely write reviews and never bad ones. I could throw a dinner plate further. I wanted YouTube videos on how to throw properly - it doesn’t look like it works in the video which should have been my first clue. Dog not interested in the slightest. We left it in the field rather than carry it back. Useless

I don’t know what it is about this toy but my dog goes bonkers to play with it. She is obsessed with catching balls, so didn’t really think she would like something different but oh goodness this was a hit for Christmas.

My German shepherd absolutely loves this toy and always has . It doesn’t go as far as the frisbees or as fast but as she is now seven she can still run after this and catch it mid flight without much effort.

My dog is OBSESSED with this toy! It's an absolute treat when we take it out for a play. Great one to teach catching in the air as well as it glides and isn't the fastest. We've had multiple over the years!
