Gel Seals for Sordin

If you are on the fence, get the pair. Since I did not have Sordin's gel version of ear pads, I'm comparing to the basic foam ones. What you are getting with this product is: - better fit (no hot spots) - better noise cancelling (since those ear pads are more pliable, the seal is better, and there are less gaps) - works better with headwear, baseball caps, etc - better stability on the head (since they have more points of contact, they are not prone to sliding off as easily as the foam ones) Cold temperatures performance I put the headphones in the freezer for 30 minutes, the ear pads did not firm up. Installation I used plastic tool to lift the ear pads from the base. There are no tabs underneath. The pads came with a set of foam to put into the headphones, but they also fit well with the OEM foam, so I did not swap it. No opinion on how long they will last.

Got this to replace my aging MSA Sordin dual comm headset ear pads.. no issues. Perfect fit and just as comfortable as the orginal!

Good quality gel cups perhaps better than the originals that I had

Although it doesn’t say it fits the TCI Liberator III’s, I had the feeling they would fit. They snapped in perfectly. Ended up replacing the foam insert as well. The padding that came with my headset was so worn down, I would get headaches wearing eye pro. Although I haven’t had any hours with these replacements, I don’t even feel like I’m wearing the eye pro and or sunglasses. They’re very squishy and feels like they make a really good seal around my ears. You can see the padding in the second picture is very worn down. Great replacement for the money!

Highly recommend these gel pads if your Sordins didn't come with any. YouTube has a video on how to remove the stock pads and install the Gel ones. I have big ears and these cups also seem to provide me with a little more ear room.

I was at first a little leary of this purchase due to price and not being listed it would work for my tci liberator ii headset but figured I would give it a try and couldn't be happier I did! Amazing quality for the price and would be OK with spending more for them if needed! Very comfortable and stable when clicked in and came with new inner foam dampening material aswell! Nice touch!

I did not even know these ear pads were replaceable until I saw how much new Sordin ear protection costs! These “off-label” pads work very well, and are amazingly easy to replace. Much better than having the old Sordin ear pads dropping large crumbs of clear sticky gel in your hair when they wear out or tear open.

These are about 85% of the quality as original MSA gel cups that come with the upgraded Sordin Supreme Pro X. The only differences that I would say is the exterior black synthetic “leather” is not as soft as the original and you can tell it’s a different material from feel. The gel inside isn’t as thick nor as squishy when you compare it to the original. But they are still more comfortable that just the foam ear cups that come standard with the Sordin Pro X. I haven’t had a problem with this gel making my ears or head sore so it does it job providing pressure relief. They are almost as comfortable as the originals. I would say this Chinese made version is about 85% of the quality of the original but at 50% of the cost. I’ve had these for 1 month as of this review so I cannot comment on the durability of these. I would get approximately 2 years of use out of the original gel cups before they would degrade due to the extreme heat. They are very easy to install, they just snap into place, and they seem to have the same seal and sound damping as the original. If they were more gel filled like the originals, then I would give them 5 stars.

Arrived as described. Gel seals are far more effective than the foam ones I originally received with my Sordins. Switching them over was easy. Shipping was very quick. Highly recommend this seller.
