Drill Doctor 750X Unit with 3-Pin UK Plug

So far this seems to be a really good piece of kit. It is simple to use and sharpens bits very well returning them to a new state. Used it to sharpen bits ranging from 2.5mm to 12mm and coped equally well with all sizes. I would recommend this product.

I did quite a bit of research before I decided to buy this unit and even though I could have got it cheaper from the USA I would have had to purchase a separate transformer to change from 120 V to 240 V so decided to buy the machine here in the UK. Could not wait to try it out and although early days the results up to now have been good.The unit is well made,robust and comes in it's own box which is great.Although more expensive than other similar units on the market I would recommend this one. The construction of the unit leaves a little to be desired, cheap looking plastic chucks and casing. The unit does however work very effectively once you have deciphered the manual & mastered the technique. There is some degree of finesse to the method but on the whole I am thoroughly pleased with the results, far better than doing it by eye on just my first attempt using the unit. Price is somewhat over the top though for a grinder and angled chuck.

Super easy to use once you watch enough Youtube videos and follow instruction carefully. Always visually inspect the result and learn from it to maximize the tool. Buy the 180 grits stone as well this will give your drill bits a much finer smooth touch. For larger drill bits such as 9mm and above use 100 grits to sharpen first then use 180 grits to refine for best result. If you only use 100 grits you can see the marks on the bits when finished.

Good unit once you work out how to set it up, then it's easy and quick to sharpen drill bits.

Cost price is high but good consistent results. Good to add the cross point to drills

This is described as being sold with a blown plastic case, which would be very useful but unfortunately not true and should be corrected. Don't think for a minute that at this price you will get a case, just a zipped bag ...whoopee

L'ffilapunte è arrivato nei tempi prescritti, mi sono letto le istruzioni in Italiano fino all'esaurimento un mese prima circa, ho visto i video relativi da yutub tutti i giorni, mi mancava soltanto l'ffilapunte. Dopo la consegna del pacco ho provato l'affilapunte nella maniera più difficile da capire per me , ho affilato una punta da 2,5. ci sono riuscito con attenzione ricordandomi quello che avevo letto, affilatura perfetta, sono soddisfattissimo e lo consiglio a tutti.
