Has anyone seen clear looking material in their pool?

My pool looked like milk and nothing I did could make it better. I tore the sand filter apart and all the laterals were clogged up with a fine material off the balls that caused the filter not to be able to filter the water. I had to clean them with a tooth brush. I replaced with sand and it took two days to clear up. It looks fantastic now

Will this work for DE Filters?

In my experience there is nothing better than a DE filter

I need 325 lb of sand which would be 6 + bags of balls. Should I mix part sand and part filter balls, or use all balls??

I did everything you can imagen and the best fit in everything is using the filter ball. They work great in every aspect. I like easy simple and durable and this works the best . Dump the sand , return it or fill a hole but don’t use it anymore that is old school and filter balls have done it for my pool which is way cleaner. Have fun now.
