Inside 3 - Phantom Awful Phantom

Yet another fun cube from INSIDE3.I already owned Mean0, Mean Phantom, Awful0 and Mortal0 before I got this one.I was a little worried this one would be insanely hard due to the difficulty jump between the Mean 0 and Phantom. I don't feel that's the case. This is certainly harder than Awful0 but not insanely harder. I've beaten this one "forwards" but not backwards yet.I actually still find it easier to get lost on Mean Phantom than this one. I don't want to put spoilers in, if that's really possible on a cube that has a map, but there are some new tricks in this cube that a person up for a challenge will enjoy. One particular move I don't really understand how to do smoothly, maybe in time I'll figure that out.The cube itself is well made and the door on this one fits really well compared to the others I have. That's probably manufacturing differences though so YMMV. I can open the others with just a thumbnail, this one I have to use a key or pencil to help.As I've stated in some of my other reviews of the harder levels of these cubes, this is not a good place to start. Depending on the target patience level I'd start at Mean0 or Awful0 at most. That said, you can always open this one if you get lost. You can also remove the phantom if you want to attempt the cube without distraction.

This cube is super challenging compared to the last few I did, but still very fun. I had to "cheat" the first time I completed it by opening it up and taking the phantom ball out. Even without the phantom ball, it was very challenging. I've put the phantom ball back in, and haven't been able to complete it yet with it. However, it's not too hard that it's just frustrating. I'd recommend starting with a cube a few levels easier if you haven't done one yet, and if you liked that one, don't be scared of giving this one a shot. I'll probably order the next hardest shortly myself.

These are amazing! Though I went ahead and blindly shook it around, and I beat the maze. It ended up being more of a good idea than a good puzzle, but fun none the less. I wish it was like 3 time bigger but I would definitely purchase another.

This thing is awful! :D I decided to jump in at the deep end and am still trying to learn to swim. I cheated and pulled the phantom ball out and it is still a beast to navigate. I hope to get more of these, maybe an easier one next time.

Very difficult puzzle but ball is difficult to reset after receiving in mail.

This product looks much cheaper in hand than online. It is not very intellectually challenging and fun either. The quality is less than expected as well, as a little pulling breaks it all apart.

Very challenging. Not easily solved. Two balls in the maze more than double the difficulty.

Hubby loved this. He was suprised i got him one for christmas since he never even seen one before. This one he did solve after 30 minutes or so but he enjoyed it thoroughly. :)

Got it for my husband who could not figure it out and did not like it.

Alot smaller than what I was hoping for. Materials seem well made, but not for the price of this thing. Haven't even had the interest to try it yet

Great looking puzzle with a nice solid build and nicely packaged, but having given this to my father as a Xmas gift, he unboxed it and literally solved it within 5 minutes which was a bit of a let down given that 'awful' suggested a high level of difficulty. With that, I know I should have bought a greater difficulty - perhaps the most difficult that's available. I definitely expect some degree of time to be spent on a puzzle of this kind. The highest level could take hours, or at least that's what I'd hope. In reflection of this, I would recommend going for a higher level.

Impegnativo. Ci tengo a sottolineare che se si smonta (È necessario se non volete perderci le ore) ci sono le indicazioni per ricostruirlo e riposizionare le biglie. Complimenti all'inventore.

Beh che dire, il regalo che ho fatto non è piaciuto molto. La ho regalata ad un ragazzo che ci ha provato una decina di minuti e poi la ha lasciata lì, lo schema interno è evidentemente troppo "trial and error" ci sono pure dei salti che non sono per nulla semplici. Magari per i patiti dei rompicapi è anche un ottimo prodotto.
