I love these shoes
I'm a Skechers fan in general but the slip ins are next level. Great support, comfortable, true-to-size, and they look good. Very happy with these.

Comfortable and convenient
I wear Skechers brand shoes all the time, but these are my first pair of their Slip-Ins. First off, let me say how much I appreciate Skechers offering wide widths for those of us with Fred Flinstone/hobbit feet! I ordered my usual size/width in the Slip-Ins and the fit is perfect - not too long, but with plenty of width. True to the advertising, you can slip your feet right in - no hands required - and the shoe stays in place (thanks to the little "pillow" inside the heel part of the shoe. These are a very comfortable fitting shoe, but with a little less support (IMO) than my other Skechers that are specific for walking/running, so I won't be wearing these for a hike, but they will get a lot of use for casual wear. I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 star review only because of how the shoe works with my socks. I started off wearing them with lowcut "no show" socks and that did not work for me at all. Something about the fit of the shoe did not allow the "no show" socks to stay in place, so they slipped down off my heel and got bunched up in my shoe. I tried the shoes with no socks, which works fine, but I usually like to wear socks. Lastly, I've worn them with low cut athletic socks (shown in the pics). The fit is fine (these socks aren't super thick) and the socks stay in place (unlike the "no show" socks), but because of this shoe's silhouette, more of the sock shows and I'm not loving that look. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to getting use out of these shoes, and am sold on the hands-free slip-in design. I'll definitely look into the other styles with this same feature.

Almost 20 miles around Manhattan in 3 days, feet felt just fine
The short version: I decided to break these in by wearing them on a three-day trip to New York City during which I walked 19.73 miles, and it's the only time in 14 years of such trips that my feet HAVEN'T been killing me by Day 3.On these NYC trips, I tend to get overly ambitious on the first day, and then I spend most of Day 2 sitting in a coffee shop trying to forget how much my feet hurt. Making matters worse, I also have a bad ankle (it's been weak my whole life), so I put pressure in the corresponding foot in weird ways to compensate for the ankle being out of alignment. On this trip, I walked over 18,000 steps on the first day, and I was expecting to be hating life the next day. Normally, it wouldn't be the smartest move to bring a brand-new pair of shoes, and ONLY those shoes, on an intensive walking trip across unforgiving pavement. But my feet and even my ankle were completely fine. This has never happened before. I've worn a dozen different pairs of sneakers, running shoes, and even LL Bean hiking boots around the city, and this is a first. They're very cushy and very easy to get in and out of, yet you never feel like you're at risk of slipping out of them by accident. They don't seem especially supportive, but my delicate little princess of an ankle seems to think they're just fine, and she's the authority. I seriously might switch to just wearing these forever.

I don't have to bend over to put the sneaker on.
I have been wanting a pair of Slip ins for a very long time. I have back and hip issues and for many years I have not been able to tie regular sneakers. I did not realize that they have a cushion at the heel. It's wonderful!!! Not only is the cushion comfortable, but it keeps my heels in place. So far, these sneakers/shoes are helping my plantar fasciatis so that I can go for walks. And I think they look very nice on my foot. I am very happy that I finally bought a pair of Skechers Slip-Ins.

They really do slide on with ease, very comfortabe.
After walking in them for an hour or so my feet started getting painful. This could be because I've worn nothing but flip-flops and sandals for the last several months.
