Estes Space Eagle Model Rocket Kit

This rocket is made out of cardboard, not very rugged. Considering the price though, it was well worth it. Had lots of fun with the kids with this.

ok...where to start......I bought this rocket as the 9th of my fleet. out of the 8 other rockets I have this is absolutely the worst. opposed to the other review for this rocket which is 100% true the build of this rocket was terrible. The rocket is a beautiful piece and it is definitely different from some of the others. what really put this one down for me is that the engine mount was terrible. I've had rockets where the ring around the mount was to tight and would not fit around the engine tube or into the body tube. well I would rather have that than this, this was lose around the mount tube and didn't even fit in the body tube. I had to take spare parts from other rockets to the engine mount solid in the body tube. it is obviously a cheap rocket in every aspect of the build. now maybe I had a defective model because that does happen sometimes but I would not take the risk of buying it again and I certainly would not recommend to others. so again this is an appealing model but the build is less than ideal. This is definitely not one of Estes better models and I am honestly very disappointed with this model. Finally, I have not launched this model yet but I would not be surprised if the engine mount shot up the body tube and caught it on fire and as it came in the package it is not a safe model to shoot without some additional parts on the engine mount.

Great entry level rocket with simple paint scheme, easy decals and overall great size.
