Trouble And Their Double Lives

I wasn't sure whether to buy this at first since previous live recordings by this band, and live videos of them on Youtube, always sounded less-than-impressive to me, the atmospherics of the songs and vocals in particular always seemingly taking a hit in the live setting.Thankfully that isn't the case here, this is one of the most exciting heavy metal live albums i've heard for some time. For its nearly two-hour running time, it never lets up or becomes dull. The mixing is brilliant too, with everything crystal clear in the mix (it certainly sounds superior to any of Iron Maiden's recent live albums), and even the vocals sound great as well (also unlike those Maiden live albums, none of the funny stage banter is cut either).Does make me wonder how much 'fixing' was done to these recordings though. Still, if it makes for a better listening experience at the end of the day then so what? i'd much rather a live record sound like this instead of being full of playing mistakes, muddy audio, forgotten lyrics etc etc. Of course, it's entirely possible that there's been no fixing at all and the band have always been this great live but were just previously let down by poor sound.Also the two new studio tracks are great as well, keeping up the high standard of quality the band have been doing ever since 'Hammer of the Witches'.At this point it seems pointless to single out individual tracks so I won't be doing any of that. No matter which song(s) are chosen to hear, a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

A great band love, I love the new audio tracks and the live stuff is just brilliant.

This tremendous live double album features a great range of songs from across thier career as well as two awesome new studio tracks. Which Includes “she is a fire”. The performances and overall production of the album are amazing and it’s probably one of my favourite purchases so far this year.

Cradle have always been outstanding live an this doesn't disappoint! Excellent selection of songs sounds great. A must have for any cradle fan.

Si hablamos de Cradle of Filth hablamos de uno de las bandas que han hecho historia y más reconocidas en el Metal, en lo particular mis épocas favoritas de esta banda son los 90s y del 2015 en adelante con una que otra excepción de buen material que sacaron en los 2000, este álbum contiene una especie de grandes hits en vivo grabado por una de las mejores alineaciones que han encarnado en la banda recientemente, y sus 2 nuevas grabaciones superan a su CD anterior del 2021, impaciente espero su próximo álbum.

First; the 2 new studio tracks are excellent, really like them a lot. It’s nice that they gave us some new music before they come out with another studio album. The band sounds great on all songs. Dan’s voice is also great. It’s amazing how he remembers all the lyrics to these songs. I love Lindsay Schoolcraft on the female vocals and keyboards, too bad she left the band. Also, a great selection of songs, 3 from Cruelty, 2 from Dusk sound awesome. But, all songs really sound great. Highly recommended!
