Aromatic, good taste. Good value.( Local stores seem to have stopped selling dried sage.)

Good quality, clean, sage at a good price.

There is a lot of dried sage that came through the post, and they looked 'fresh' and smelled fine.What I think was a problem was that the herbs came in an unsealed bag, meaning that hygiene may be a concern, and that the fragrance of the product is not properly sealed in.It can be seen from the tag that was stuck on the bag, though, that the Seller is aware that the dried herb should be kept sealed as much as possible, yet he did not vacuum-seal his products. Much to be regretted.

This is the real English sage, the flavour you get in traditional sage and onion stuffing.The sage that supermarkets have been selling as fresh sage (long thin leaves) is a Mediterranean variety that tastes nothing like traditional English sage (short round leaves).

Came well packed, nice smell.

Dislike the weak aroma of this sage. Not sure how old it is but have to use twice as much of this in gravies, sauces etc to get either taste or smell. Won't buy this particular one again. May try something from different seller..if same problem occurs, will try find fresh herbs supplier near to me. Not greatly impressed.
