We are having some home improvements done, and the workers need a hose with a spigot. Well, they broke the expensive $25 one - TWICE. I shopped on Amazon, and found this one, bought two of them. Wouldn't you know it, they broke one, and now are on the other. It works great. Nothing fancy. When you squeeze, it starts out as a fine / wide spray, then becomes a powerful single stream when you squeeze all the way. I like it, nice and grippy. And cheap. What's that noise? Oh, the workers are back? I better order another one...

The nozzle is fine and works great. However, the most vulnerable part of the unit, one which I have had fail on nozzles from other manufacturers with the same design is the very top of the trigger handle where the volume adjustment screw passes through. That area gets all the stress from pulling the trigger, and since the trigger handle is plastic, it's prone to breaking. I thought the Melnor one would have that part metal; that'swhy I purchased it even though it's more expensive than other ones of the same design. It turns out it isn't, so I'll just have to wait and see if it holds up better than the cheaper ones.

Great product when it’s new. Lasted only one season then it started leaking from the bottom. Not repairable since the housing cracked. Not anywhere near industrial grade!

Great hose end nozzle, pressure was great and the plastic quick connect that came with it fit my brass ones fine.

You know what you've done? You've bought one of those plastic nozzles with a funky turn screen that gives you 7 different spray patterns. It lasted about 1 minute past the moment your 7-year-old had a water fight with it. Don't feel bad. I did the same thing. Then, I bought this bad boy. The spray adjusts the further you pull the lever. But for me, I just wanted to wash the car, or spray the sidewalk. I didn't need a fine spray to mist my ferns. This is a durable, well-working and simply designed sprayer that will outlive your kids. Big Rudy

The only issue I have so far is the clip that locks the handle in the full open position. It’s too easily susceptible to getting hooked when you don’t want it to.

A fully satisfactory product. Works well, no leaks. If you vary the pressure you put on the trigger, you can get anything from a very fine shower to a very powerful jet of water. I would buy it again.

However, what this is not good at is: It cannot do delicate work like watering plants, this can easily tear your plants apart if you squeeze too hard. It cannot double as a water hose for filling buckets, There is no low pressure mode that has high throughput option It lasted me so far about 3 months of daily use, banging against floor, walls very frequently, and still going. the rubber protector at the tip broke off, but it is unnecessary.
