I love that this step ladder has actual steps instead of rungs to stand on. I can climb up as high as I need to be in my house, and I still have ladder to lean on for security. It is sturdy; it does not shake or wobble. I can get work done and feel secure at the same time. It is light weight, easy to move, and it folds flat for easy storage. I have a very bad back, so that when I say that it is light weight and easy to move, it IS. This ladder was an excellent purchase.

Wow - I was a little skeptical about the cost of this ladder compared to big box store options but it is like the best ladder ever! It is really light weight, folds to be very slim to store, is surprisingly attractive, and surprisingly sturdy and stable.I am so happy I got this ladder. It is is perfect for my place which has high ceilings- to change light bulbs and to reach things on the top shelf. I do fold it up and store it in a closet, but it is probably the most attractive ladder I have ever seen - so completely furniture worthy!This is the ‘it’ of ladders! Absolutely happy and highly recommended!

Ladder arrived in perfect condition, wrapped securely. Opening and closing it is a breeze!! Folds flat, it’s so sleek and well made! I bought the 5 step ladder to reach the ceiling lights, etc. I am very happy with this!

This stool allows me at 5'2" to reach the top shelf of my cabinets. It stands as tall as my counter top. It is lightweight because of the aluminum, however it I love the wood look. I am finding it hard to store out of the way because of it's size. I definitely need a stool to unfold this high, but it does not fit in any any of the crevasses I have. Opening and folding are easy. The feet are plastic which can cause it to slide very easily which is not ideal while you are on it. I will purchase something to fit over the feet to prevent this. Even when it slides, it does not mark up my vinyl floor or my hard wood floors.

Never thought I'd say I have a pretty ladder....but it is! The whole thing is great and I'm so very glad I purchased one. I was afraid the steps might be too narrow but definitely not the case and I love that they are so deep.

BUY THIS LADDER! I live in a house with vaulted ceilings. I am a 72-year-old female and only 5' tall. I cannot even get my linens on the upper shelves of my linen closet or the books on the top shelves of my bookcases with a regular step-ladder. I have a normal two-step step-ladder with a tray top from a hardware store that folds. It isn't overly massive but I still bang into things and it still isn't tall enough for me to reach many of the places I need to reach on a regular daily basis. I read many reviews and although some people claimed these wonderfully designed folding 5-step ladders weren't sturdy enough. I beg to differ. My large and tall handyman and myself are in love with this ladder with it's tiny lightweight profile and handy to carry and store features. The top handle on this has been important for me to feel safe when on the top steps. I have had no need for any rails to help me get up and down as some of these feature. Someone very smart designed this brilliantly and I am so grateful to them. I have a heavy fiberglass regular ladder in the garage I used to drag all around my historic home with 14' ceilings. Thank God, I don't have to do that anymore. It stores in this tiny space between the end of the upper closet shelf and the wall in my bedroom clothes closet out of sight and out of the way but so easy to access, to carry around, and manage all over the house as needed without hitting furniture and walls. I absolutely love this thing.

I bought a similar 5 step ladder to work in a house with 9 ft ceilings on the first floor, and it has been great. So I thought I might be able to change light bulbs at 10 ft upstairs with this one. I was wrong… I don’t know what it was, but climbing up the five step one I bought that was very similar but came from another brand was a no-brainer, easy and comfortable. This ladder looked exactly the same plus one step, but it turns out it’s not. It’s so lightweight that I felt really strange by step 4, uneasy by step 5, and frankly nauseous at step 6. It’s narrow and doesn’t feel all that steady when you’re at the top; I had zero courage to reach up to see if I could change one of the recessed bulbs with this thing.It’s unfortunate, because it’s beautiful and lightweight, but I feel like you’d have to be a small ten year old to climb it without feeling like it wasn’t stable enough. I probably need to just get a proper aluminum stepladder of the hardware store type; I don’t feel scared that those are going to tip over when I have to climb up.Try at your own risk; at least it’s lightweight to put back in the box and return it.

The quality is superb and can easily support up to 300lbs (I don't have a safe way to test more weight). The thing is wildly sturdy, no creaks or bends when climbing up or down. Additionally, it's exceptionally light, perfect for a walk-in pantry or workshop. Super pleased with this one!

Wood will eventually begin to fail.

These steps are a nice gloss black, they are sturdy, not wobbly at all. Great looking, they fold down neatly.
