Fiddle Time Runners: A second book of easy pieces for violin

Easy to read and follow during the violin lesson. This book was recommended by the teacher. My child started with volume 1 and he’s now using the second one.

The Fiddle Time book set is brilliant for children. It's friendly, approachable and the CD helps with recognition. This is my son's second book and he's almost ready for his Grade I violin exam. The songs are fun and capture the essence of the violin - I highly recommend.

Second installment of fiddle time..these books are great for kids learning to play..I can't believe how much my son has come on with his playing since beginning last year..these books are great and the tunes are very recognisable. He also has the Christmas edition which is also a great buy.

As an adult learner, I found this book quite concise, with a good range of pieces to practice on. Pros: Clearly laid out, easy to find the CD track that goes with a particular written pieces. Cons: Some of the sheet music symbology is not explained, had to ask my instructor (you DO have an instructor, right?). The music CD tends to have backing music to the tracks that can be distracting when trying to understand the actual violin music (but that is a personal preference thing).

We knew this would be a good book as my daughter had a borrowed copy while we ordered this. It arrived when it said it would and is as describled. If you are a youngster learning violin - then this is recommended, interesting pieces to play at a suitable level.

Following up on the first book and looking forward to learning the songs. Quick and easy delivery. Thank you very much. Disappointed no CD with it as there was with book one.

The 2nd book in the fiddle time series is both good and easy to follow. The downloadable backing tracks are a far better idea than the old style CDs,

Après le jogger, le runner avant le sprinter, acheté sur les conseils de notre professeur de violon. Notre petit virtuose adore et nos voisins un peu moins. Il s'entraine avec un métronome en s'aidant du CD; de nombreux airs variés mais il a ses préférences en fonction de la mélodie et de la difficulté bref rien a dire, cela le change de la console de jeux et le relaxe.

Delivered in time. Just a little bit surprised that the music is online rather than on a CD as the 1st book. The book itself is really good. Both kids and the violin teacher like the book.

Originally, I had a problem with this order but, after talking with someone from the store, my problem was solved. I'm now very happy with my purchase. The book is perfect for my 8-year-old grandson who loves playing his violin/fiddle!
