Strong, large capacity, but would love a couple of upgrades. 1, would love different thread profile so you don’t have to turn so many times to screw/unscrew 2, would like base to be separate piece so Sat is same type cup as other days so easier to rearrange days (put Sun last) Still, excellent and fits my needs better than others I have tried.

Super cool pill keeper. I love the whole design of it and how durable it is as it is made of metal. I will be honest, I bought this for a lm anticipated move into a sailboat taking place in 6 to 8 months. I needed a watertight and durable pill keeper that didn’t have lids that popped open to let pills fall out. I also needed a way to try to keep the intense humidity on a boat from spoiling my pills. I appreciate having a daily pill keeper as I can reference the particular compartment for a given day to confirm if I took my pills for the day or not. I don’t take many pills. But the ones I take are quite mandatory and needed daily without experiencing complications less than 24 hours after a missed dose. Unfortunately, the monotony of routinely taking them means that I always have a somewhat fresh memory of having taken my pills because I make about 365 of those memories throughout a typical year. This pill keeper has the daily breakout I need. However, short of filling this pill keeper with my expensive medication and either submerging the pill keeper, or taking it into a long hot steamy shower with me, there really isn’t a good way for me to test the seal on these compartments out. A dishwasher gets way too hot, and most medications aren’t meant to get too hot or too cold. Also, I find that sublimated ink on metal fas a tendency to wear off quickly on metal surfaces that are subjected to the extreme heat in dishwashers. I doubt one cycle would cause the letters to start fading/coming off but it has happened before on a single wash with other items. Obviously, humidity on a boat is a persistent issue. Medications on a boat can get mushy with the constant dampness rendering them ineffective and potentially unsafe and unstable. So, as cool as it looks, and as solid as it is, I am not willing to risk ruining my medication trying to rest the water tightness. I guess I could try a cracker? Lol. At any rate. It’s definitely not cheaply made, and they even give a few extra silicon O rings in case you lose one. I’m happy with my purchase either way. And, it will find a use, if not effective for storing daily pills for the week, on my boat. The only other concern I had about this metal pill keeper is sweating. Metal can sweat if it gets too cold and then gets exposed to warm air…much like a cup full of ice cold lemonade gets all wet on the outside and causes the water saturation point to drop in the chilled air being cooled immediately near the outside of the cup. If the outside of the pill case gets cold enough because metal absorbs cold temperatures very well, if the air inside the pill compartment is warmer than the metal and doesn’t equalize with the temperature of the metal quick enough, if this could cause the saturation point of the air inside the compartment to decrease, and thereby result in the expulsion of water…all over my pills. Sciencey…I know. But, the mind has the think differently when considering life on a sailboat. First world problems, am I right? Regardless. If you are looking for a solid and well made pill keeper, one you can chuck in your bag for trips, etc., you can’t really go wrong with this one
