Sturdy Stand With Imaginative "Extras"
I had to replace my old stand as one of the legs was bowing and the stand was no longer standing level. I was looking for something a little sturdier than my old stand which would go flying if i caught it with the neck of my guitar whilst turning. The first thing i noticed was how much thicker the central pole and legs were compared to my old stand. Catching the stand with my guitar now would not result in the stand being pushed over in most cases. The sheet holder itself was solid backed, this was an improvement over my old stand which had a big square gap on each side of the sheet stand which meant that the spring clips that held the sheet music in place had a limited area at the top or the bottom of the sheet holder to hold the sheets in place, anywhere else and the spring clips would just push the paper through the large gaps. The extras were very useful as well, a clip to attach the sheet music at the top of the stand is useful and ensures that if you are playing out doors the sheet music isn't going to blow off the stand or flutter at the wrong moment, the sheets stay firmly in place. The light clip is excellent and recharges via a USB (charging cable supplied). The light is very strong and should give you no problems reading the sheets in low level gig situations. Finally the bag that comes with it is well made, this surprised me as a music stand is quite light and the bags that come with them (if they come with them) are usually very thin, i can't see this bag wearing out any time soon. I'm very happy with this stand and it just shows how much better a product can be if a little thought goes into the design. Recommended!

Very good quality and excellent value, plus excellent customer service
Excellent product. The stand is light and fits neatly into the supplied soft case with the music book rest folded in two to be easily accommodated. The folding music book rest is a very clever solution to being able to support heavy books whilst still being lightweight and easily manageable size. The adjustable stand is remarkably light whilst still being strong. Compared to friends full size concert music stands this appears to be just as strong, but light. The supplied light is a bonus though in my case the rechargeable battery would not hold a charge but did work if connected by the supplied cable to a USB power source. I contacted the supplier - they are in China - and informed them of the problem. They immediately apologised for the problem and said, after confirming my address, that they would send a replacement though this would take around 15 days to get to the UK. That was on 8th April 2019 and the replacement duly arrived on 23rd April, which I consider excellent customer service bearing in mind the transit time from China. I have said the light was a bonus and have to say in all honesty that the music stand on its own is very good value for the quality and in comparison to similar products. The adjustment screws seem well made and engineered to avoid thread stripping, which is all too easy on light weight music stands in this price range. I am very pleased with this product.

Works well as long as your "Careful" with it
This piece of kit is great if you want a lightweight easy to assemble and easy to carry music stand. Its well worth the money for what you get. Its draw backs are basically, the weakness of the Stand tighteners and threads, like most music stands these are weak and over tightening will destroy them. The overall stand and holder is adequate for lightweight music sheets but struggles with heavier books and will suffer from repeated use. The stand foot is also weak and generally light weight, although adequate for the level of the product you have to " bear it in mind" every time you use it, to not mistreat it! The Accessories are "OK" the clip works well, the lights work as long as you charge regularly and perhaps take a second battery to top up on longer gigs where its dark.. the bag is adequate and easy to load although again lightweight and flimsy so again no mistreatment. Using this product on a regular and repeated basis will break it in the longer term, using this product for a few gigs where you need the essentials is fine. If you want longer lasting better wearing stuff go elsewhere.

Lightweight and sturdy
I highly recommend this product. Excellent value for money, very sturdy, adjustable and came with fab accessories. The stand ledge is of a good size to fit a reasonable sized music folder on. Chuffed to bit's to see that all fits nicely into the wee bag, it' so light weight and perfect for travelling and for gigs.

Defective and totally useless
Only zero stars can reflect the fact that the upper stems don't fit into the mid section stem. Absolutely pathetic quality of manufacturing. Completely useless waste of money. Avoid!

Music holder is plastic
While the whole stand is acceptable and easily assembled, I was hoping the actual music holder would also be metal not plastic. The pedestal is sturdy but the holder is flimsy by comparison and won't take any rough treatment. If it does get knocked, it could easily crack. For occasional use it's adequate.

This is a solid, well-made music stand. I will likely be using it as a desktop stand, but I did assemble the entire unit and it is steady and adjusts easily. The lights can be plugged into a USB or powered with three (3) AAA batteries. I did try to put some music books onto it, and the one inch thick book was too heavy, but the 1/2 inch book was do-able. I was hesitant to order this online because I didn't want a thin shaky stand. All in all, the few extra dollars was well spent. And its light enough to carry in the zippered nylon bag.

I play at a strumming music circle so I have seen a lot of different music stands and this is hands down the best music stand out there! The solid plastic book holder holds single sheets of music as well as any size of books. There are wire holders at the bottom of the solid book holder that holds books and single pages in place. The other thing I like about the solid top is that it has a full tilt range and can be used as a little table when it isn’t being used as a music stand. This makes it possible to leave it out if you don’t have a lot of space and use it as an end table or even a tv table when it isn’t being used as a music stand. To that end, it is also very sturdy. I wouldn’t recommend using it to pile all your heaviest books on it, but a lot of my music books ARE really heavy and I have put them onto it and it hasn’t had any problems. It’s made from real metal, not thin strips. It is still incredibly lightweight and I can lift the bag with all the extras that it comes with with one finger. Everything is so well designed it folds up super small too. It comes with a book clamp to hold awkwardly made books open in addition to the built in wire clamps on the bottom. The light that comes with it can also be used as a reading lamp, the places I tend to use my stand are brightly lit, but having enough light is SO important, having this light available is really important. I’m glad to have it even though I use my couch reading light or the overhead light when I go out. I think especially for performances it would be vital to have. Who wants to be guessing at words or notes because of bad lighting? It’s rechargeable too! It comes with a nice bag and I usually attach it to the outside of my large music with a clasp because it’s a bit long to go inside and it’s the first thing I always need to set up. There are a couple of things about set up that are important to know about, read the instructions carefully because some things must be carefully slid instead of pushed. So... just read the instructions and it’s pretty straightforward I’ve watched all my musician friends have their music stands fall over and their books be too heavy or slide through their cheap stands non solid tops. I don’t ever have any of these problems and I know that I have a good stand that makes playing music my main focus, not my music stand or trying to keep my music on the stand my focus.
