Excellent tool
An awesome tool for cutting drywall, PVC pipe, or really any type of thing where a proper saw is just overkill. Was well worth the 90 bucks I paid for it, and I wish I had bought one of these sooner.

Only replacement for Ryobi JobPlus and Rigid cordless JobMax
I own multiple tool attachments for Ryobi JobPlus base, that fit both Ryobi and Rigid JobMax power bases. My Ryobi base stopped working and to my disappointment it has been discontinued. I looked for the Rigid cordless version and that has been discontinued also. With no other cordless options, I purchased the corded Rigid tool at Home Depot, Model # R28700. To my further disappointment, the head was fixed, not detachable. Returned and purchased this model #R28602 which does have the detachable head for swapping tool attachments.

Reliable, versatile, never hand cut dry wall again!
Love this product, I've used it almost daily since it was delivered, the interchangeable heads make this a necessity if you need your own tools for the job, I would absolutely buy it again. It's small enough to fit in most spaces and has plenty of power for the price and size.

Good tool
The tool is great and had no problems with the seller. Don't expect Ridgid to not honor there lifetime warranty because the tool wasn't purchased from one of their dealers. No mention of this in the product description.

Smoke show
Seemed OK for a few minutes. Then maybe 5 total minutes of start and stop use, it began to smoke. It smoked to the point that right away I unplugged it and put it outside in the driveway in case it decided to go further. Fortunately it was a smooth return, but I'm now looking for another multi tool to buy.Can't recommend. Should last longer then 5 minutes of use.

No Warranty
I learned that this tool is not eligible for Ridgid's Lifetime Service Agreement because it was not purchased from an acknowledged seller. It's not even covered by any Ridgid warranty. None of that was mentioned in the description of this tool. Overall, however, I feel it is a good tool that is compatible with all the JobMax functional heads.
