Brilliant
A really good book normalising BAME children without focusing overly on 'race'. My two MR children love it.

Lovely book for my 3.5 year old boy and girl twin. They really enjoy the idea of having confidence & self expression as a good thing.

It's ok
I do not like this book, but my Son does. (No offence intended) It feels like it was written by a child. There is no real story or theme apart from himself, which I find a bit narcissistic. The illustrations are ok. The book does jump from one radom thing to another. The quality is ok just.On the positive:I can tell the author was well intentioned, the main character talks about his emotions and imagination, the book is playful and easy the handle. The are activities at the back that you can do with your child which is a nice touch. The way its written i think makes it easier for a Child to understand. The character is happy and fun. Most importantly, my Son likes it.

Son loves it!
My son has asked for this book every night since I bought it. It's so nice to have a book with black characters that isn't about "being black".

lovely
I bought more than one for a my little ones. It has helped them to look at themselves and othersIn terms of colour and race. It also allows them to compare simularities.
