Too small, inferior stiff material and welded joints
These were to replace an original strap that broke after 2 years. I ordered the medium which is supposed to fit UK 1-8 as my lad is a size 4. They were smaller than the original, stiffer with much less stretch and had welded seems. They were too tight to get over the boot so returned and found the original straps £5 cheaper on the playermaker website

Not as robust
I had playmaker straps that were thicker and more robust, before I upgraded to city play, my boy has already worn out 1 pair because they’re not designed for astroturf boots, most of out winter training is on either 3G or AstroTurf, Cityplay straps are thinner and wear out , 15£ a pair may turn out to be quite expensive if they keep snapping

Holes & Tears on bottom straps
Straps already have a small holes & tears in them after only having them for a few weeks. My son is playing on astro turf. Surely this should not be happening. Can you please confirm?

Die Straps müssen beim regelmäßigen Einsatz (C-Jugend) nicht selten ersetzt werden. Auf Kunstrasen unterliegen sie ständiger Abnutzung; auf Naturrasen ist das kaum der Fall - gibts in der Stadt aber eben kaum. Somit ein nicht unerheblicher Kostenfaktor bei dem hohen Preis. Dieser sollten bei der Beschaffung der sehr guten und in der Analyse hilfreichen Playermaker Lösung berücksichtigt werden.
