Adding oil to a lock is always a bad idea when entering keyway as it’ll hold dirt. Adding this graphite to the key and working it into the barrel has made key operating so much better it’s like new again. Simple fix and lasts long.

Tried in a sticky lock but it made no difference. However, 3 in 1 oil worked a treat.

My yale lock now turns smoothly.

Absolutely no instructions with the product

As the web page states, this bottle will last for years as only tiny amounts of the graphite powder is needed when lubricating locks.The graphite works instantly when applied to a lock mechanism and it doesn't matter which type of lock either. The graphite gets into all parts of the lock to smooth out the friction between them and makes the lock feel much easier to operate.I've used a similar product for many, many years on all my house and car locks and have never had any problems with sticking or corrosion. Sadly my old bottle eventually ran out, but now I can continue with this new product.My only minor criticism is of the small bottle. The cap doesn't have a small spout to puff the powder into a lock. It simply unscrews from the bottle leaving a wide opening of about 9mm. As a result I apply the powder to the keyhole by putting a small amount on the key blade and then pushing it into the lock and turning it several times. But this is slightly messier than it could be with a better cap design. However, I do recommend this for its wonderful effect on sticky locks.

A great lubricant with many applications and specifically great for my current door lock.
