After a couple of weeks, my beard is noticeably softer and much less frizzy. The beard oil has a very pleasant smell and can double as a soothing aftershave. I can tell a huge difference when I forget to put it on. The beard butter has a strong but pleasant smell and really helps to control beard frizz. The real star of this trio is the beard shaping tool. It makes it simple to define the edges of your beard with electric trimmers or a razor for a clean, professional look. I got several compliments from the ladies at the office after trimming my beard with the tool. All in all, this is a great set at a fantastic price for what you get. I've seen beard oil alone at double this price.

First shipment didn't workout, i guess my mailman was auditioning to be a member of STOMP the Broadway production, but the good folks at the Manskape Co were kind enough to ship me another package, they are quick to respond and have great customer service. The product is great also, the oil smells incredible and the balm is extremely effective at keeping the flyaway hairs down. The shaping tool is incredible, my beard looks amazing after correcting some lining mistakes I made in the past. This really is a great startup kit and I hope they sell just the oil and balm in a different listing because the shaping tool is very durable and will last a really long time.

I recently purchased this beard oil for my best guy friend because he was always complaining about his itchy beard but refused to shave it (he has quite the beard...). Being tired of the complaining, I was looking for a solution and found this. It was very affordable and I decided to give it a shot. He loves this stuff! It smells so good, kind of a fresh manly smell. The best part is the way it makes his beard feel though! It is so soft. I was worried that it might make it feel gross and greasy but it really doesn't. You just need a little and it goes a long way. He also uses the comb to help get the perfect edges when shaving. I am very happy with this purchase and am definitely in the good graces of my friend.

It’s an amazing collection and cheaper then going to Walmart however.... it is missing the conditioner so not a “ultimate” kit

I started out trying the butter by itself, and loved it. So when I saw this amazing deal, I had to get it. It has all the ingredients of a high quality beard balm/oil for a reasonable price. The ingredients promote healthy skin and hair, and the results prove that. Before using the balm, my beard hair was brittle and easy to break. Now, not only is it soft with just the right amount of shine, but its also significantly stronger than before. I bought one for myself and my brother, as we're both starting our beard journeys, and I can honestly say I'll be a lifelong customer.

This is my third edit for this review because I was honestly a little upset and left a harsh one the first time. First, the oil and balm: This stuff works well for the skin but not so great for the hair. When I first ordered it, my face was feeling pretty irritated, itchy, and dry. I took a shower and immediately felt relief after working the oil and balm into my beard. After about a week, my skin felt healthy and happy. That being said, the hair of my bard became dry and course the more I used this. After a few weeks of using this product I actually ended up trimming my beard back down from a year long beard to just a couple inches. I didn't want to, but the hair on my beard started to feel pretty burnt up. Using this stuff leaves my beard feeling soft for a few hours but after, it's dry as a desert. The ingredients that go into this stuff are all legit though. They seem to be using great oils and essential oils and if you look at the ingredients list, there are A LOT of ingredients that go into these so I couldn't tell you why my beard was drying up so bad. I've since stuck with other oils and balms that are a little bit more light on the number of ingredients that go into them. As for the value, You do get quite a lot for your money. The beard balm tin is larger than your average beard balm and the oil bottle is also considerably larger than your average dropper bottle. Plus, I love that it has a convenient squirt top instead of a dropper. That said, the bottle for this oil is clear and plastic instead of the usual amber or tinted as is recommended for beard oils so you have to make sure you keep this in a dark closet or medicine cabinet or it might end up going bad a lot quicker. Finally, the scent is down right awful. It's almost a chemical smell. Now, I love smelling "woodsy" but the scent on both the oil and the balm smells down right like that chemical arsenic stuff they use on pressure treated wood. You're going to smell a lot more like a dirty lumber aisle in a Home Depot than like anything I'd describe as "woodsy." My wife says she actually sort of likes it, but I'm the one who has to smell it on my face all day. Luckily, the fragrance wares off quick. All that said, I was able to work this stuff into a routine. I use other oils and balms for my daily use and for going out but on my days off when I'm hanging around the house, I'll use this to help the skin under my beard because it does a good job at that. I don't however wear it out nor do I use it frequently because of the scent and because too much use has caused me issues in the past. I don't think I'll be ordering more though. I've gotten better results at comparable prices with other brands. Plus, my beard oils are what I use instead of cologne and I hated this fragrance. The beard shaping tool: Solid tool. I've used it multiple times to trim and shape up and it's made getting a good clean line so much easier. All in all... It's a great value for the money but cheap isn't always good and usually reflects on quality. This is no exception.

I'm not a big fan of facial hair, so if I had my way, my husband would be clean shaven all the time. Unfortunately, shaving really irritates his skin, so he always has some level of stubble. I bought this set hoping that it would soften his beard, and I definitely think it has helped! It doesn't feel as sharp, and it also looks a bit less disheveled. We both really like the scent, and it's not overpowering at all. The tea tree, cedarwood, and rosemary combine into a faint piney smell which is very pleasant. The containers might seem small, but you only need a tiny amount, so these will definitely last quite a while. I'm very happy we decided to try Wild Willies products!

This product works really well. It prevents my skin from drying out which is always a problem I usually have when I grow a beard. It also keeps my beard soft which my wife appreciates. I have tried a few of the other varieties and this one is my favorite. From trying other brands, this is more of a waxy consistency instead of a soft consistency so it will melt in your hands. There is a scent that my wife seems to like. Unlike some of the other brands, the scent goes away after a little bit but I prefer this.
