I am writing this review in respect of Sumatra and Bologna capsules from this range, although I have sampled most of the range in recent months (and enjoyed them all).The coffee is enjoyable and certainly represents excellent value for money, particularly factoring in that it is organic and fairtrade. Like Nespresso's own range, there are coffees of various strengths and flavours, though it may take some experimentation to find your favourite. The flavours are readily discernible and distinctive, from fruity, nutty, all the way to liquoricey... I am no coffee expert but I am happy with these pods.One of the issues that seems to plague 3rd party capsules in general is the fit with the machine. In some cases I have even had the machine stop working due to pressure problems. Thankfully no such problems with realcoffee capsules, which fit tightly and afford the same flow as the original range.however, I am knocking a star off, because they are not *perfect* in this regard - there is still a small amount of water seepage. In fact, I did my best to scientifically measure this, and discovered that there is about 1ml (or just over) produced when using a Sumatra capsule.Now, I have learned from another manufacturer in the past that supposedly "I am part of the problem" because I tend to use the espresso capsules to make a lungo size drink. Well, so be it: but I bought this machine for convenience, not to become a barista ;-) So, I may not be alone in making longer drinks from espresso capsules.So, I measured leakage after one espresso shot, then again after making a lungo size drink (another shot from the same capsule). In fact, most leakage occurred in the first phase of the cycle. See pics.I just keep a small piece of kitchen roll in the base of my capsule tray.

Everyone of these pods has a great and unique flavour, The shape of the boxes makes it easy for storage too, next day delivery. Alexa always reminds me when to order and does it all for me.

Great flavours apart from I got 3 Roma and 1 Sumatra instead of 2 of each with Sumatra being best flavour.

Firstly a lot were alluminium pods that were shaped exactly like the starbucks pods and they worked in my pod adapter for the dolce gusto mini me. (The adapter is available on Amazon but this is not compatible with piccolo xs so be careful about buying an adapter) The negative is that 30 pods were a thick plastic and incompatible. I took pictures of the 3 boxes seperately from the ones that worked so you can see which design pods were not compatible. I was sent lots of flavours which is great. I like variety. The pods that were alluminium and not thick plastic, that can't be pierced on the base, were a lot milder than the noted bean strength on the boxes. I tried one that had all but one bean coloured in and I would rate it a 4 - 6 so if you like a mild to medium roast then you will like them. Someone said they were bitter in a review. None of the ones I've teied have been bitter. I haven't tried all of them and can't try the 3 boxes with the different type of pods that came in my bundle. Those are the ones with a flat, silver/white circle area bottom in my pictures. The adapter did pierce the pod no problem but the machine could not close because the 'needle' that puts the water through the pod could not pierce the plastic of the pod. That is a shame and it might be why many have said the pods are not compatible. But honestly? Not all of them were the plastic design. So to be fair I can't simpky claim they don't work. I can provide pictures that show which ones did work and which ones/type didn't. That way you can buy the ones that you feel confident will work for you.I do think that if the claim is that they are aluminium pods, which it clearly states so, then they should all be the sluminium pod and not a few boxes of plastic ones thrown in amongst them. So for reference. The purple pod is the design that worked. The red plastic pod is the design that did not work.As I had to thow away 30 pods, plus the flavour is mild and not as fresh as I experience with other brands, these lost some stars. I don't see myself using all the compatible pods as they are not as full in flavour and freshness as I like. I probably won't buy them again but continue to find the right coffee pods for me.

This is a great coffee selection coming from an Italian coffee lover 👌🏻 it’s good value for money and a nice change from the standard nespresso coffee capsules! Would highly recommend, this is already my second time buying this product!
