Fundix Castey 24 cm Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Fry Pan with Red Removable Handle

The only complaint I have is the handle is a 2 handed job to get off and on. But the pan itself is brilliant and the customer service is great.

We have several Fundix/Castey pans and have been using them for quite a few years - they are robust and work really well with all heat sources especially induction. Indestructable and the unattachable handle makes it a perfect hob to oven item. Highly recommended by long time user.

Super nonstick. Oven proof. Description says pan comes with removable handle. Not my one, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Handle off previous purchase of smaller version fitted.

Lovely pans could not fault it

A word of warning on this. The description states clearly "with red removable handle". It arrived without a handle. I have just checked and you need to read further down the details to discover the handle isn't included. Not best pleased as I can't use it unless I spend more money.

I just love these pans (I've got two now) - I'm a half decent cook and have had a lot of pans over the years. I'm currently using an induction hob where a flat bottomed pan is essential and they are - a lot of pans have a slight bulge in the base. The heat distribution is even, they clean easily, the removable handles are easily removed (I accidentally got 2 different colours but no big drama).

This is my fourth piece of cookware from the Fundix Castey range. I am a big fan. The non-stick surface really is non-stick & amazingly tough. I use these things - and machine wash them - almost daily & they have lasted several years without obvious degradation. I even scored the surface of a Castey frying pan with the over-zealous use of a meat thermometer. I imagined the pan would soon be useless but now, after a further 9 months of regular use, the damage hasn't spread & it is still a perfectly useable pan. Really good, I recommend.

Great pan but no handle !

Es la cuarta "Castey" que compro.No... no te alarmes pensando que son muchas, y que es porque duren poco. Todo lo contrario.Las tres anteriores fueron adquiridas hace como unos 25 años, y ya tocaba renovar.Sartén ideal para camping por la comodidad de su desmontaje. Así mismo, la ventaja de poderla meter en el horno, sin la molestia del mango.Una sartén que rezuma calidad, y que se nota en cuanto la tienes en las manos.

Ho queste padelle da anni e le cambio solo perchè l'antiaderente nel tempo viene graffiato ( ma durano mediamente il doppio di qualsiasi altra padella abbia avuto). Le trovo ottime per cucinare sia su fornelli che induzione e estremamente pratiche per essere lavate o riposte con il manico che si puo' mettere e levare con facilità.

Hace años que utilizo estas sartenes y van perfectas. En caso de meterlas en el lavaplatos como se puede desmontar el mango es muy práctica además el sistema de desmontaje esta bien pensado y con el tiempo no se llega a romper como en otros. El mango en este caso no he tenido que comprarlo porque lo tenía de otra paella que he jubilado.

Ottima, costruita in modo assolutamente valido. Il manico anche ad alte temperature non crea nessun tipo di problema (odore strano ad esempio).Uso di continuo padelle antiaderenti e quelle di questa marca non mi deludono mai.Anzi ultimamente sto acquistando solo i prodotti di questa linea.Perfetta anche su piastra a induzione.Consigliatissima.
