Doesn’t hold chair in place at all. Maybe mines a dud?
The media could not be loaded. First off, these casters have one single locking caster. I’m dumb and looked at the one picture and ordered them thinking they all would lock. That’s my mistake, however... these wheels glide even when locked. The whole purpose of this was to avoid putting a rug down to keep me from rolling while I’m at my desk. I still roll unfortunately. The wheels glide real well, super smoothly to be honest. This is why I still roll.I do like that it raised my chair a few inches. Gives me better height for better posture. Which makes up a few negatives. The fittings to these casters are a bit loose when applied to my chair. They pull out very easily. I even say for a while and tried taking them out, they fell out pretty easy. Just keep in mind if you’re moving house or anything. Also, they sent me a quote from Oprah... asking them to rate them which I didn’t like too much.I’m short:Pros: super smooth, adds chair height.Cons: very misleading, doesn’t lock in place at all, loose fitting.Get yourself a cheaper pair that doesn’t lock. Or spend a bit more and get them all to lock. I’m pretty disappointed. Ps, my video is not the best hahh.

Needs more than one brake to keep chair completely still.
The caster wheels are smooth as expected, but they wobble a bit in the sockets of my chair (a Herman Miller Aeron) causing some of the wheels to not rotate smoothly if I'm moving in a new direction. Also, there's only one caster wheel that has a brake, but it really should have at least two wheels with brakes because with one set to lock, the chair will pivot around the braked wheel.

Excellent casters at a very reasonable price
The product came packaged exceptionally well, protecting the goods from any possible damage. The price was very reasonable--I bought two sets. The quality of manufacture is excellent. The body is made of fine steel, and the wheels are equally fine polyurethane (think "skateboard"?). I just had a wooden floor installed in our computer room, and the new casters enable our computer chairs to move very smoothly--and safely! I would certainly recommend the seller.

Very smooth & quiet
These are much better than the original wheels that came with my office chair. These absolutely glide over floors and roll easily over carpet. Several times I was amazed at how smooth and quiet these wheels are. I would buy these again, but I think I'll never need to replace them. If I ever buy another chair with wheels, though, I will purchase these & install them instead of the ones that come with the chair.I've only had them a few months, but they do seem to be of excellent quality and value.

Only one of these wheels has a lock and so ...
Only one of these wheels has a lock and so any sideways force causes the chair to rotate more or less in place. Why didn't they make at least two of the wheels with locks!?

Love these new wheels
Love these new wheels. I have a crap chair from an office supply store, and I bought these because I wanted to feel like I had a better chair. They are sleek, well packaged and do the trick! I'll be ordering more for gifts for the holidays.

Its quiet, smooth and easy to manuever...
This is the second set I have ordered. I tried the first at home, removing the hard plastic mat to see how it would do on a carpet. After a 6 month test, I ordered the second set for work, i am a teacher. We have tile installed in my classroom but I purchased a 5' x 8' carpet for my desk and love the ways it rolls on it. The added benefit is my students can't tell when I'm moving around to look at them, my desk is in the back of the classroom. I recommend this for anyone in the profession...

Heavy duty, not worried about capacity at all!
These make rolling my office chair on carpet MUCH easier, and are built quite strong with roller bearings on the shaft and wheels. My only complaint is the wheel that had the stopping mechanism on it kept rolling around and hitting my foot from time to time.Simple enough to remove though, drill out the pressed end of the shaft and pull it out, then take a pair of pliers and bend the arms for the stopper around so they don't stick out. Problem solved in 5 minutes!
