Compact bench-top grinder
This is a great little grinder for smaller items that are difficult to handle. The added extension which acts similar to a dremel tool allows for very exact and precision work on small parts. This is the perfect addition to any home hobby/ or professional shop. Great value and function in a small package.

Great tool!
What a great little grinder/rotary tool! It's nice and small, won't take up too much space on your workbench.I bought this instead of a Dremel and used it to cut fiberglass parts; it worked like a champ. So for half the price of a Dremel, you get a rotary tool and grinder. Win-win.

Nice unit did not work for our family use.

Weak motor - LIGHT duty use only
Bogs down with slightest pressure; which makes the variable speed kind of useless, you have to set the speed on high so it doesn't completely stop. Very small work areas because of the housing design.Works great for small, LIGHT duty projects.I get enough use out of it, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the cost.

... it to be junk but it really is a nice little (VERY little) bench to grinder
i bought this thing half expecting for it to be junk but it really is a nice little (VERY little) bench to grinder. its definitely not for heavy use but i have used it on decent gauge metal and as long as you dont try to hog out too much material at once, it will do the job. the flex shaft was a very pleasant surprise. it really doesn't bog down much at all when in use.... i see this more as a decent flex shaft tool that happens to have a grinder and buffing wheel attached to it haha. all jokes aside i am pleased with this product. it is definitely not for heavy use but for people with very little space or hobbies that require small precise work this would work great!

Short Lived
Nice little grinder/polisher I bought for my wife to polish metal jewelry she creates. I put a 3" buffing wheel on and it worked terrific. It was difficult to tighten the nuts on the wheel since there is no shaft lock and putting a wrench on the opposite wheel nuts only result in loosening one as you tighten the other. However, after about an hour of total run time...it quit. I could get it to start by turning it on and spinning the wheel by hand for a couple turns, but after a few starts, the wouldn't work either. I replaced the brushes with the replacements they provided and that worked for another few starts, but then it failed again.Amazon Customer Product Support was a joke. They asked the most ridiculous questions...obviously reading from a script. Due to a family emergency, we did not get to use the grinder for more than 30 days from when I ordered it and Amazon would not accept a return. They did, however, connect me with the manufacturer. Their representative was terrific and they sent me a replacement right away and told me to keep the inoperative unit. We haven't used the replacement yet, so we don't know if it will work or not.

Won't last 1 year
For 50 bucks is ok. It's compact and serves more than one function, with the dramel being a plus. But the power and built quality are underwhelming. Mine just went out today after very light use over 9 months. I think thay on the instructions to not use for more than 10 min straight. I probably used it for 2 hours straight today and it fried. Overall it's a toy for people that are uncertain if they want to pursue a certain hobby or not. If you like whatever you're doing, be prepared to buy something more powerful and not a 2 in 1 tool. Buy them separately. This is a good idea in theory, but if your going to use the dramel for hours, don't even get this one. I'm getting a Flex shaft dramel this time around.

Works Great for Me
I use this as a sharpening station for putting super sharp edges on my woodcarving knives. I did not attach the rotary tool and took off both wheels so that I could put on a wooden wheel with leather glues to the edge and a cloth brush wheel on the other. This setup is fantastic and with the variable speed capability of the unit, it allows me to get the right speed for various knife, v-tool and gouge sharpening. The unit has worked very well for me since I got it recently.
