ScubaMax Abaco Oversize Single Lens Dive Mask

This mask is 2 to 3 times less costly than almost every mask I have ever tried. Every other mask I tried leaked no matter how I adjusted strap tension. I was amazed to find on my first dive there was zero, I mean zero leaks.

Bin diving for 35 years. Always struggled to find a mask big enough to fit my face. Masks always leaked and had to be cleared constantly while diving. Also didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a mask. Dove with this mask last week in Roatan, and I don’t think I had to clear my mask once. Took 35 years but problem solved!

So this mask is very tight, I have a medium face but my nose has a decent sized (not huge) bridge. This mask does not work for my nose at all! Very uncomfortable and would not work wearing underwater with any pressure.

I was looking for a mask that would fit a large face and ended up ordering this one. I received it and noticed that there were small cracks in the frame around the nose (see photo). So I returned it for a replacement, but the replacement had exactly the same cracks. Then I noticed that the product photo on Amazon's page has exactly the same cracks as well (zoom in on the product photo and you can see them). This mask seems to have a good fit for my face, and I don't know what impact those lines/cracks have on the integrity of the mask, but I don't think I can trust it.

I bought 4 of this mask for big faces that occasionally come snorkeling with Adventure Mermaid in Puerto Rico while on vacation (we teach proper mask usage). These masks arrived after May 28 (slow shipping to PR these days), and now as I write this on July 31st, they’ve all broken (see photos) in front on the outer frame and no longer hold out water. Each has been worn approximately 4 times.I do not recommend anyone buy, as These masks are priced for a scuba diver, yet made too poorly to withstand pressure or normal use beyond a few times.

My husbands head seems a little larger than normal adult mask. He has had problems in the past with masks leaking while trying to snorkel. I bought this mask for him as a gift. He is very pleased with hot the mask fits and is comfortable.

If you have a large melon like I do...this is the mask for you! Great fit and was able to see so much more than with the standard masks. I did have to shave my light beard to get it to seal well when diving. Once I did that, the seal was perfect.

We have been searching for an extra large scuba mask as my husband's face and nose is large and this is the first one that actually fits him comfortably. We've only used it a couple of times but it's fit is great, clear viewing and easy to adjust.
