Will this support a 5G sim and use the 5G network?

Unfortunately the Pocket 5G WIFI only supports cellular networks up to 4th generation. The 5G refers to 5Ghz WIFI compatibility. A bit of a play on the description that make it sound better than it is. That said for the price the unit performs well but be aware that the battery is shipped with a clear almost invisible plastic film over the connecting tag which has to be removed before use. I have seen some posts from people complaining that the battery doesn't work, I suspect that's why.
