These were shipped quickly. Living in a Mobil home I wanted to make sure I had these in hand in case anything should happen needing to be extinguished. I have fire extinguishers but in an emergency I feel better prepared with the blankets. They are a four-pack so I have two in my house and gave one away and one in my car. I pray I never have to use any of them but it gives me peace of mind. They are much heavier than I anticipated and look easy enough to use. Directions are printed right on the front of each blanket pack. In my opinion this would make a great gift for any occasion.

Have 8 of them. Used once on stove pan fire. Put it out quickly and was able to use again. Quality seems good and dependable.

I FINALLY GOT A CHANCE TO TEST THESE BLANKETS OUT. WE HAD A FIRE OUTSIDE OVER THE WEEKEND AND WE MADE A FIRE IN THE FIRE PIT. ONCE WE STARTED THE FIRE, I PUT IT OUT WITH THIS BLANKET. IT SMOTHERED THE FIRE AND PUT IT OUT! IT TRULY WORKS AND I CAN SAY 1000% THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE OF THESE IN YOUR HOUSE!!! I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I WAS SKEPTICAL THAT IT WOULD WORK, AND YOU CAN NOT TEST THE EFFECTIVENESS UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A FIRE…. BUT IT WOULD BE TOO LATE IF YOU HAD A KITCHEN FIRE OR ANY FIRE. I TESTED IT OUT FOR MYSELF AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!!! THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SIMPLE, IT ACTUALLY WORKS AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR THAT PEACE OF MIND…IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT BUYING IT, DEFINITELY BUY IT BECAUSE I PUT OUT THE FIRE MYSELF TO PROVE IT WORKS. IF THAT FIRE WAS INDOORS, I NOW KNOW THAT THIS BLANKET OFFERS ME PROTECTION. THERE ARE TABS THAT YOU PULL ON TO DEPLOY THE BLANKET SO ITS DESIGN IS FOR SAVING SPACE WHEN NOT IN USE. IT IS SQUARE, THE DIMENSIONS ARE 40”x40”, WHICH IS 3.3 FEET, IT FOLDS UP NICELY AND CAN BE HUNG IN YOUR KITCHEN OUT OF YOUR WAY. I REALLY LIKE THAT IT DOES NOT TAKE UP ANY KITCHEN SPACE. ALSO, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY WHICH SIDE IS CORRECT BECAUSE IT IS DOUBLE SIDED, AND ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTION, IT CAN WITHSTAND OVER 1000 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. I DO ALSO OWN A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND A SPRAY THAT PUTS OUT FIRES. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR A HOME FIRE BECAUSE AS I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND, IT GETS OUT OF CONTROL REALLY FAST. I KEEP ONE UPSTAIRS AND ONE DOWN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND I WOULD RATHER HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT, THAN TO NEED ONE AND NOT HAVE IT. I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY AND GIVE IT AN A+++

I just bought the 2 pack recently. Put one by the kitchen and one in the laundry room. I like the size and quality. Hope I don’t have to use it except for emergency of course!

Haven't had to actually use it yet but great to know how easy it would be to use without the need of a fire extinguisher. So light weight and portable. Bought several for Christmas gifts and everyone was glad to get one.

This is my second time buying these. Last time I kept one and gifted the rest. My son used his shortly after receiving it. He put out a kitchen fire and it worked great. I used mine two days ago for a fire on my stove. It was a lifesaver! Thank you!

Hoped I would never had to use this but got one for my house and both my kids houses as well. My kids laughed when I gave it to them. This past Sunday night my daughter called panicked that there was a fire in her house and to come now. Luckily she got the kids out quickly while her husband tried to put out an electrical fire with a battery booster box charging in the kitchen. He was failing using a dish towel but remembered seeing this blanket under the kitchen sink and grabbed it. Using it he covered the now exploded battery device that was flaming and ran out the house. It saved his house from going up in flames. Already ordered a replacement for them. Very thankful it worked and they had it for my daughter and my 3 grandchildren.

Seem to be good quality. The extra silicone coating should make touching the blanket less likely to shed fiberglass threads. If I have one criticism it is that the hole in the top for hanging could do with being bigger - a lot of hooks won't fit.

Very awesome it pays to be safe, thought this was a great for our kitchen so I bought one for our naughbor and she lonved it, it's in my view to be a thoughtful gift. great idea.

I’ve seen the ads … felt this was something I needed for my kitchen, garage and travel trailer … hopefully I never have to use it, but I’m happy for the peace of mind it brings.
