Well worth the money
Excellent replacement part. Easy to install as I took a photo of the old one with wires attached and moved one wire at a time to the exact same spot on the new one. It took me 5 minutes from removing, connecting and installing. AC started right up. Saved over $200 the AC company wanted to charge to replace it. Excellent YouTube videos to show how to discharge electricity from old unit so u won’t damage the unit or yourself. Simple.

Works great, make sure to map the connectors correctly.
The product works as intended. Aside from the post diagnosis time (I'll explain later) this took me 10 minutes to replace my AC capacitor, including turning off the power and replacing the capacitor. There two important things to know here: it matters less what brand you get. It matters waaay more that the capacitor you get matches up with your air conditioner's capacitor specs. If the old capacitor asks for 45+5uf, then get a capacitor that matches that rating. The voltage should also meet or exceed the air conditioner's specs. The other thing you keep inind is pay attention to the cable colors and connect them correctly. My old capacitor was bulging and all rusted out so I could not see what the original terminal labels were (C,F, HREM). I took a picture and hooked up the new capacitor the same way as the picture. When I turned the power back on, the compressor turned on for few minutes then turned off. I was going to call the HVAC repair people until I stumbled upon a post where if you hooked up the capacitor incorrectly, the compressor fan will run for a bit but then turn itself off because it is running out of spec. The air conditioner cover has your AC's wiring instructions, including what color wires should be plugged into your capacitor. Redoing the connectors as noted in the instructions did the trick. don't rely on the old capacitor's wiring position, and dont expect the wiring colors to be the same between HVAC companies. If you replace your capacitor and it short cycles recheck your connections before calling the pros.

So easy and inexpensive
Super easy, cost-effective way of getting your AC up and running again. The last time my capacitor went out, I was charged $350 to replace it. I later learned that capacitor replacement is one of the most common ways that companies rip you off. This time I spent $17 and it took me 15 minutes, start to finish, and I had never done it before. I watched a couple videos and that was it. Make sure you take a picture of your existing wiring setup before you pull the wires and just match it. I appreciate that I was able to order this part at noon and it was delivered around 4:30. Outstanding.

Didn't even last 2 years in service
Replaced my A/C unit's blown cap with this one in November 2023. This one only lasted until June 2025. So, it's cheap, but it might not last very long. The HVAC guy who I just had out to replace this one with a new one said, "Yeah, these are the cheap Chinese ones, and they aren't very good." After this short lifespan, I'm inclined to agree with him. So, proceed at your own risk with this one.
