Pro Tip from a Tower Climber: To make a shoestring knot stay secure, tie a square knot (reef knot) instead of a weak granny knot. If your bow always sits askew or comes loose, reversing the direction of your starting knot and the bow wrap cancels out the twist. ( Tie a double knot, first right-handed then left-handed).
