No complaints and would buy again!
These are fantastic! My son and I were at a library recently when we saw a set of these and I ran to Amazon to purchase a set for my son before we had even left the library! He has other magnatiles but he's enjoying the change from flat tiles to 3D pieces. He's able to use his imagination to build all kinds of things with just one set. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again!

Not able to stand and build
These magnets are not strong enough to support the weight of 3 pieces

Great open ended toy for kids
I love that my niece can be so creative with these magnetic connectors, I definitely recommend getting the bigger set. I love that they come with their own storage bin. These are good quality connector toys that so far have held up nicely to a three year old i highly recommend getting these, your kids will love building their own structures and discovering all the cool shapes they can make.

Fun toy, missing pieces
My 9 year old enjoys these. We got the 100 set for his birthday. Unfortunately now opening it we are missing pieces, 3 balls. To bad the return window just closed. Good toy, strong magnets to hold a tower but count your pieces. 2 stars off for receiving an I complete set because these are an expensive toy and he is unable to build all the designs

Fun STEM toy!
We have several sets of these types of building toys with the rods and spheres in my pre-kindergarten classroom and this set is hands down the best quality! The magnets are the strongest of all the ones we've tried and they hold together very well. The pieces themselves are very sturdy and have a good weight to them compared to other similar toy sets. The set is also great because it has so many pieces, so many colors and comes in a nice little storage box with a handle. Building toys in general are not only extremely popular with the kids, but also great for teaching STEM concepts! My students absolutely love these and seeing all the interesting ways they can connect them and unique shapes and structures they can come up with. Even with stronger magnets, depending on how the kids connect the pieces, if there is too much weight on their structure, it tends to collapse. This is a great opportunity for teaching about support for structures like buildings and bridges! I also use these to teach 3D shapes with my students. One of the things the kids love about these is that they can twist, spin and move the pieces while they are attached. They love making windmills and flowers and spinning them on the ball. These are also good for teaching about magnets and positive and negative poles, as some of the rod pieces push away from each other and some stick together. I highly recommend this set! Picasso Tiles is a fantastic brand in general with quality comparable to other name brands anduch better prices!

Decent Set with Nice Storage Bin
We have several sets like these that all seem to be the same except for colors and whether they come in a bag or a plastic box. The magnets are okay but not very strong, probably so they can't hurt a child who gets a finger between two magnets. You can build small things, but nothing too elaborate without taking great care, because bumping them will cause them to be skewed or fall apart. The pieces are all very much smaller and somewhat weaker than the older SmartMax sets of similar design that we have. This PicassoTiles set is similar to all the other sets, except the pieces have a textured surface. That may make them slightly easier to hold onto, but also more difficult to clean. This set does come in the nicest box of all the smaller sets. I would go with the 100 piece set. It doesn't seem like as many pieces as you would imagine. I don't think you could do much at all with the 50 piece set.

Perfect for a 5 year old
My child loves this. Developmentally, he's at the stage where he is curious about how things work and wants to design and build his own thing. He enjoys playing with simple construction block sets (the ones that begin with an L and end in O) - but those are expensive and don't go very far. With this set, you get 100 pieces in four colors and examples of things you can build, both 2 and 3 dimensional. The examples in the booklet are large enough to easily see the construction and he picked right up on the task of looking at the finished object and selecting the right pieces to build it. This is a step up from the item by item construction that comes with the blocks. We also had an interesting conversation about whether the specific colors need to match in order to achieve desired outcome. The magnets are strong enough to hold things together with a satisfying click, but are easily pulled apart by young hands. There are curved pieces, which expands the possibilities. The balls also add possibilities for angles.

Great magnetic toy! My 21-month-old loves it and stays focused while playing. The magnets are safely secured, which is important since he still puts toys in his mouth. Safe, sturdy, and highly recommended—especially when on sale!
