They just work!
I have a radiator upstairs that always seems to get air - I have tried troubleshooting it but get nowhere - and I ended up having to bleed it each day this Winter. Saw these, cheap so worth a go - and they work! Easy to fit into the radiator - just screws in - when you open the valves you can here air coming out of this unit and then a tiny drop of water as the top level is reached, and then that is it.Haven't had to bleed the radiator since...Very happy with it so have bought some more 'just in case'.

Easy to fit and working great
I bought these for my bathroom radiator which is forever needing bled because it's too tall and not enough pressure is coming from the gravity tank in the attic. Easy to fit. All you have to do is turn off both valves at the bottom of the radiator which isolates the water in the radiator. Screw the old vent off and fit one of these. Please please do not call a plumber to fit these - it's very easy to do. Quick delivery too.

Great little gadget
We just had our bathroom refitted, including a trendy new tall narrow radiator. It looks great, but the design of some of these, ours included, is flawed - they consist of vertical pipes with heatsink panels affixed to the front, which look great, but the pipes are only connected horizontally at the bottom and the very top, there are no horizontal pipes in between. This means that as soon as only a tiny amount of air has collected in the rad (our heating is old and we get a lot of air in the system, which collects in upstairs rads), enough to lower the water level just below the very top bar, the rad stops heating up completely, the hot water can only flow across the very bottom. Bleeding the rad and letting out what seems like a tiny amount of gas before it splutters water restores the flow across the top, and the rad heats up. So I fitted one of these, and it works perfectly, rad is now hot all the time.

Significant Improvement to Central Heating
I changed out my central heating, going from copper pipes to Hep2o, and installed 6 new radiators (4 being tall ones). Since installing them, the heating has always been a bit noisy, gurgling sound in radiators, dripping sounds, etc.Tried draining the system and refilling (a few times), regular bleeding, adding inhibitor, adjusting the valves, but nothing seemed to work. Just recently I replaced all the radiators and TRVs again (like for like - the radiators I originally got had a manufacturing fault and the paint had started to blister after just 18 months). After this the sound seemed worse, and also got a very nasty new vibration sound in some of the radiators that was really loud, a slight turn of the TRV would make it stop.Tried bleeding again as this was suggested as a fix for the loud vibration noise from google research, balancing, all to no avail. These were a bit of a last ditch attempt and they have made a massive difference. Installation was really easy, installed them on the 4 tall radiators we have, taking about 10 minutes per radiator. Once installed there is nothing more to do except use heating as normal and let them do what they were designed to do.After the first night all noises from the radiators stopped, no more gurgling or dripping sound, no nasty vibration on the TRVs - amazed by them. The significant nose I hear now is from the boiler at the opposite end of the house! The heat output also seems to have improved a fair bit, but that could be due to the recent cold-spell making it appear to be throwing out more heat.Would really recommend them, at this price point and due to ease of installation they really are worth a try if you have a noisy system or want to see if you can get any improvements with heat output/efficiency.
