Handy to keep in the car
The media could not be loaded. My review is based around the current selling price of £119.99 with extra 8% off voucher availablePros:Professional looking solid caseWell madeGood qualityGood selection of toolsEverything is held nicely in it’s own spaceVery handyCons:Case hinges do not lock fully - watch your fingers! The case does not lockThe quality of the tools isn’t the best (also not the worst)Only 2 tools are 1000V ratedThe position of tools is questionableBit overpricedSome of the tools could be out of a Christmas crackerSummary:Having used many types of tools over the years, from cheap as chips to tool sets worth ££££, I can tell you that this set is good but not great. The important bit is that it has a good selection of tools that feel sturdy enough - they shouldn’t snap off (but these certainly aren’t snap on!) Time will tell on how durable they are, the grips are not cheap, but insulated, I just wish they were rated but of course this kit is aimed at home and auto repair. The position of some tools is questionable, and I don’t quite understand why the long nosed pliers are not next to the side cutters and other pliers?? It just feels it could have been slightly better organised. The case opens easily and stays up for the most part - but as the hinges don’t lock, the lid could quite easily come down on your fingers when you are trying to take a tool out. Some of the tools feel cheaper than others - the tape measure for example feels like it’s worth about £2 max. Personally the tools inside feel like they are worth a maximum of £70 for the lot, but then you get the case as well. Therefore, I do think £119.99 is overpriced, and this kit should be nearer the £100 mark.

Absolutely great toolkit
So far it’s had anything I have needed for laptops, my e-bike. Other electronics and even a larger screwdriver for DIY such as installing a shower etc.The wrench was a little weak and started to deform when tightening a medium sized nut. I ended up replacing this part with my own higher end one so not a massive issue. The kit also gives you a hammer, lots of socket set combinations and work knife(which isn’t great, blades don’t last very long but they are snap off and you do get a lot of replacements. The various pliers and hand grips also work great.Overall it’s a very good tool box with almost anything anyone could need.
