We decided to rearrange our living room, which meant the TV ended up on the opposite wall to the aerial and network points with an approximate 8 m run of cable needed. The challenge I had was that the long wall that I needed to run the cable along has a recessed French door, so I needed something that would be able to deal with the corners. These kits are great because they have internal and external corner pieces, as well as a couple of methods of tidily joining lengths of trunking together. You can either butt them together and use a cover piece to hide the join, or you can use a linking piece that pushes into both open ends and joins them together. I opted to use the covers, as I think they look tidier, and of course are a bit more forgiving if you haven’t quite cut the trunking perfectly square. Very happy with the results. The trunking doesn’t look out of place against either the skirting board, or the UPVC door frame. The trunking is easy to cut with a fine bladed hacksaw, and adhesion seems to be very good, although time will tell that for sure. I made sure to clean the surfaces well with soapy water, and dry thoroughly beforehand, and it seems to have stuck well. Good value for money and does the job well.

We needed to hide some electrical cables in our caravan and didn't want to start drilling holes everywhere. We discovered this trunking kit a while ago and gave it a try. It has an integrated self-adhesive strip that attaches to the surface you're applying it to, thus avoiding drilling holes in the woodwork. I can honestly say that it has not moved an inch since we fitted it almost a year ago, despite covering several thousands of miles in our caravan, often over very bumpy roads! It was so effective that we didn't hesitate to order more when we had some further cables to conceal. It is straightforward to fit, easy to cut with a small hacksaw and has various handy attachments provided to allow cornering of the trunking etc. I would definitely recommend this product for those wanting an easy, yet stylish, solution to concealing cables.

Used for two, thick Hifi speaker cables and an ethernet cable. A very neat solution that actually works. Simple to fit and blends into skirting board really well. A bit pricy for what it is, but worth it for the ease of fitting and smart result.

When fitted, it was ok, next day the adhesive and the trunking peeled of from the wall.

Volete far passare dei cavi ma non avete voglia di spaccare il muro!! Loro sono una valida alternativa. Gli ho utilizzati per far passare i cavi dell’impianto audio della tv installati (metteteci un goccio di silicone dietro) negli angoli e poi verniciati con la parete non si notano neanche !!

Great for hiding all those cables. Handy snap together seam and adhesive back if needed. Really looks like part of the skirting board and can be painted the same colour as well. Loads of extra bits for corners and joins.

Le canaline di questa confezione sono arrivate ben imballate, con tutta la componentistica necessaria per fare i raccordi dritti o ad angolo. Personalmente mi servivano delle sezioni più corte e sono riuscito a segarle senza problemi. Lo spazio è abbastanza per far passare diversi cavi, nel mio caso 3, ma ce ne starebbero diversi altri. Nota di merito (anche se nel mio caso è stato un problema) la forza con cui l'adesivo fa presa sulle pareti, anche ruvide. Provando a riposizionarla dopo pochi secondi è stato quasi impossibile staccare la canalina che di fatto si è portata via anche pezzi di intonaco.
