I use 2 of these as makeup lights in a really poorly lit bathroom. I have them on 2 tripods: one of them stands and one of them clamps. There is a hole on one short side and on one long side of these so you can mount them vertical or horizontal. I like that I can adjust the brightness and the warmth of the light. They come with a silicone cover that better blends the individual lights into a single light. The reason for -1 star is the battery life isn't great. I keep them plugged in all of the time so they work great for my situation. With this in mind, I still highly recommend them. This is my honest review. I wasn't paid for this review. The brightness is just right not too intense, but enough to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Super easy to set up, and the remote (if included) works great. I used them to decorate my room, and they look beautiful. I think they’d also be great for parties, holidays, or photo backdrops. If you enjoy taking good quality pictures, as I do, this is a must-have device. If you get one of these, your close-in images will instantly improve because you will be able to use existing light instead of depending on the often ugly results that come with the built-in camera "flash" light source. I have two selfie lights now, and I am especially fond of this one because it is SO BRIGHT *and* has enough battery capacity to support it. I also love the intuitive nature of simply turning the brightness dial and the color temperature dial to harmonize it's light with the existing ambient light. The only sour note in the symphony is the on-off switch. It's too stiff for how tiny and intractable it is. Nonetheless, I still give it five stars, expecially considering the value for money.

Decent build quality. The cable that comes with it is very short. The accessories are useful too. Recommended product. PS: if you plan on placing it at the top of a thick monitor, keep in mind that the clip that comes with that is not large, so might not fit well on your display.
