Yes, I'm a hairdresser and use these clips to grip hair rollers. Perfect hair clips for styling/separating hair.

Are this hair separating clips easy to break?

I've had these for at least a couple of years, and I've never had one break. The package included six clips along with extra rubber bands. Highly recommend these clips; they were reasonably priced, too!

Are these hair clips hard to open?

Yes they are. They are nice quality, but I cannot use them while I blow dry my hair because it takes two hands to get them open.

Will they secure velcro curlers?
