Crocheting an afghan

This is a lot of yarn. Its very scratchy and not soft so do not buy if you want to use it for anything to wear. I bought it to make a large rainbow rug for my daughters room so it will do just fine. It doesn't fray or split off and holds together great. The color is a dark green, the picture is pretty close to what it is in person.

This yarn is good for beginners or people who are low on funds but want to crochet for therapeutic reasons. Personally for me it’s really scratchy and I can’t handle it for too long before I have to put it down (though this may be due to the fact that I’ve begun using higher quality yarn). As I said it’s great for beginners but it’s also really good for much bigger projects that you just don’t have the money to splurge on multiple skeins of spendy yarn for. A great tip for softening this yarn so it feels like your higher end yarns is to take your finished product and soak it in water with hair conditioner in it for a good few hours and then rinsing and drying. I’ve used this technique and it works wonders!

Love the softness yet very easy to work with (no separation of threads) especially for beginners. Reasonable price and I love the color. Highly recommend.

Very good quality yarn for crochet

Coarse yarn and too costly. Too much import fees and the basic cost of the item is only 3 to 4 dollars but the final charge is 20 dollars.
