Update: July 13, 2025. This lock is still working great. We LOVE it. Today we replaced the batteries for the first time. We had this lock installed and working, after about 4- 6 weeks we began having issues with the lock not unlocking from the inside. I reached out to Customer Service and they advised me how to correct the problem. After about 2 days, I began having the same issue. I reached out again and they advised me what to do and that corrected the issue for a couple of days and then began to have the same issue. I reached out once more and requested a replacement lock because obviously something was wrong. We could get in the house but we couldn’t get out without using the key. I contacted Customer Service around 7 or 8pm and I had a new replacement lock on my doorstep by 10am the next morning. Now that what I call Great Customer Service. We have installed the new lock and it is working perfectly.

A good value and works great for what we needed which was a two sided lock on an internal door in the house. It is easy to program and we like that you can program different settings on either side. You can type in a bunch of different numbers, then your code and it will unlock. I think this is a security feature so if the lock is on an external door on a busy street people watching or walking by won’t know what your true code is. Requires 4 AAA batteries that it does not come with.

This is a great option for a metal security door. Most keyless locks only work from one direction, so they can't be used one security doors or gates because someone could cut the screen and unlock it. This one was very easy to install and functions well.

Unfortunately this product does not do well when it gets wet even though it’s marketed as an “All-weather” lock, it is sad that this lock is relatively new, I’ve had it less than 1.5 years. There was a few days of rain in my area and the lock stopped working where no access could be made thru that gate, not even the key would work (and that I assumed was my backup to the batteries). I had to call a locksmith to come and replace with a totally different lock. I tried everything (new batteries, reset, even took the lock apart) NOTHING WORKED! A waste of my hard earned money.

Started at a 5 plus. Then the batteries needed replacement. We have put 3 new sets in and the door knob gets hot and batteries only last 3 days. I was locked out of my dog salon with a dog inside. Not happy., but customer service was fantastic. They delivered a brand new one! Thank you for going above and beyond!!!!

Installed relatively easily on my gate. It is one of the only outdoor locks that has a code for each side. What is disappointing is that the two sides are pretty much independent. With the synch button, I can program a code that will work on both sides, but I cannot seem to program the lock so that once I unlock it from one side and program it to stay unlocked for 5 minutes, that it also remains unlocked on the other side, which would be really useful for when I need to run in and out of the gate quickly to take the trash out for example. The other major draw back is that there is no option to program the gate be unlocked during certain times. I know the lock keeps track of time as this is what it uses to provide remote access codes. It would be so useful if it would lock the gate at night and unlocks it during the day.

I originally purchased three UI-32 locks in July 2023. Two of them have worked reliably since installation. However, one lock has been problematic from the start — the batteries would drain roughly once a month. I reached out to the seller and we tried troubleshooting the issue together without success. In December 2023, they sent a replacement lock, which initially performed better. Unfortunately, about a month ago, the same issue started again: the batteries die within just a few days. I verified that the installation was correct and followed all their instructions. I sent a detailed email explaining the recurring problem and asked if this was typical of the product, referencing other customer reviews that mention battery issues. After that, I received no response — despite multiple follow-ups. The inconsistent performance is frustrating, but being ignored by customer support is even worse. If you’re considering this lock, be warned: quality control is hit-or-miss, and you may be on your own if something goes wrong.

So im giving 5 stars because of customer support otherwise product would get 4. I purchased 2 of these locks to help with my elderly grandmother who has dementia. They work fantastic to keep her from wondering off however after 2 days of use the latch broke. At over 100$ per lock i was shocked that it broke so fast we used it no more then a normal door so maybe a handful of times in 2 days. I was skeptical about the customer support on the instructions. However they were incredibly helpful and eventually came to the conclusion that the inner latch broke and they sent me a new one free of charge no hassle or anything. Was super easy and would 100% recommend this with the quality of support alone

Work as intended. Easy to install. Would have been better if the numbers are more visible without being lit up for easy to see specially at night.

I installed this on my gate. I love the flexibility. You can leave one side unlocked and lock only the other side meaning you need a code to get in. Or you can require a code on both sides. Multiple codes can be installed. I only wish you could install more door codes than the limited amount this product allows. And the only real problem is that you cannot leave it unlocked. It will automatically revert to needing a code after a certain amount of time left in the unlock position This presents a fire hazard if someone needs to escape from inside the backyard to get out.
