Sorry, but this does not attract MY troublesome flying insect at all!
I rarely ever find myself writing a review like this, but this time it is necessary. I have been bothered recently by one type of small, fast moving flying insect, which I am not at all familiar with. I received this and plugged it in almost three weeks ago, in the heaviest traffic area right next to the kitchen sink and disposal. These pesty little flies seem to be simply laughing at it, flying right up to it but never falling for the bait! I feel as if they are mocking my attempt to get rid of them. I have changed the pad twice already just in case there was anything wrong with the first one. The blue light seems to actually attract them, but only to the area, and not at all to the fly-catching pad. It is cool here in Florida right now... maybe I'll have some success with it when mosquito season comes along, but for now, this has been a total disappointment! It’s now over 4 months later, and my indoor results aren’t any better. So I decided to try it outdoors, on my patio, and the sticky pad was almost completely covered with outdoor insects in two days!! But the unit I still have in my kitchen still has not attracted a single indoor gnat, many of which I can easily see flying around! This has proven to be useless for indoor use.

Caught 15+ gnats already in 10 days! Glue card is still sticky too (as it should be).
Works great!! It's caught like 15+ gnats in 10 days already & I'm surprised that many gnats get in this room tbh! We'll see how good it performs during the hot summer FL days, but so far so good. It keeps gnats away from me when I'm on the computer or watching TV nearby, especially during the daytime... and in a small room. I don't notice any noise level from it (it's in the corner of the room, on the same side as the garbage bin). The glue cards are easily removed/replaced, but I can check the device just by tilting it while it's plugged into the socket to test stickiness of the glue card or see how many bugs/new bugs it's caught. ^^ Simple to deal with, easy to monitor. I will update bec I'm concerned how long the glue cards last as well as the blue light itself, but so far, all is well, and the glue cards seems almost as sticky or as sticky as 10 days ago. ^^

Buzz-Be-Gone: Mosalogic's Flying Insect Trap, The Indoor Insect Avenger
Enter the Mosalogic Flying Insect Trap, a plug-in gladiator in the age-old battle against winged nuisances. This device isn't just a trap; it's a silent sentinel, a light-bearing warrior poised to outsmart mosquitoes, gnats, moths, and their airborne brethren. Garnering a robust four stars, it's a must-have for anyone seeking a fortress of peace from the buzzing chaos. Compact and unobtrusive, this trap fits seamlessly into any indoor setting. It's like a minimalist sculpture that secretly harbors a superhero identity. Plug it in, and it transforms into a beacon of blue light, luring unsuspecting flying insects with the promise of warmth, only to ensnare them in its clever trap. The brilliance of the Mosalogic trap lies in its simplicity and non-toxic approach. There are no chemicals and no zapping sounds – just a quiet, efficient capturing method that respects both your ears and the environment. It's the equivalent of a ninja, taking down targets without a fuss. This device is particularly adept at handling smaller foes – gnats, moths, and the like. It works its magic best in a dimly lit room, where its light can perform the hypnotic dance that draws insects in. And once they're in, there's no escape, ensuring your indoor spaces remain a no-fly zone for these tiny intruders. However, it's worth noting that the trap's allure might not always hit the mark for larger, more cunning insects like the common housefly. It's like casting a spell that works wonders on the minions but struggles to enchant the boss-level pests. TL;DR: The Mosalogic Flying Insect Trap is an effective, non-toxic solution for trapping smaller flying insects indoors. It's a quiet, chemical-free method that excels in catching gnats and moths, although it may falter with larger insects. Four stars for bringing tranquility back to indoor spaces, one buzz at a time.

Perfect!
This contraption is absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was hoping for!! I plugged it in before bed & by the next morning, it had attracted & caught the couple house flies flying around that night. (I bought the grey one & it matches my kitchen tile perfectly.) We have a retention pond behind our house, so we unfortunately get annoying house flies, mosquitoes & gnats flying around in the warmer months. In the first week of having this, it’s already caught quite a few flying pests. (See picture) I bought 4 total - and all 4 are doing a great job in the first week I’ve had them. It’s gives a good amount of space from the wall (see picture) as well. Each plug in came with 5 refills. They weren’t listed in the description, so I wanted to make sure people know they do come with refills. Can’t recommend this enough!! It does the job and is well worth every penny! Super easy to put together & then you just plug it in.

Worked well at first - UVs died - high pitched sound
Did a good job until UV LEDs quit working. I have it running on the amber lights but they don't attract the bugs. Came here looking for a replacement and I have sticky pads left over. Also, my daughter and wife said it made a high pitched sound and made me move it out of the kitchen so I tried to hide in a hidden plug but they kept finding it. I can't hear it. Maybe next time Mosalogic.

It works! Place in a more dim area for more effective trapping.
I received this on June 1 and got it plugged up that night. It’s June 19 and the photos are of first trap of the five included traps. As you can see, it’s been busy! Gnats, flies, mosquitoes and several other insects have all been caught. I’ve kept the light on the blue/violet light instead of the amber or dual sensor settings the entire time. I have this one placed in the breakfast area (our back door is located there) but I plugged it in the wall opposite of the door, where it gets minimal light compared to the rest of the room (the dining chair and table it’s behind provides some shade), which I think has helped draw the insects into the catcher. About halfway into these 3.5 weeks, I turned this sticky trap upside down and placed it back in the plug because I’d noticed the majority of the insects were caught at the bottom of the trap, closest to the light. It’s working so great today I purchased two more of these to place in other areas of our home (one near the front door, and one in our bedroom) to help. We live in Texas and have a terrible mosquito problem in our neighborhood (and apparently a gnat issue that I didn’t realize was as bad as it was until I saw this trap!), and we also have a doggie door and three mastiffs who are constantly running in and out, so we’re constantly having flies and mosquitoes sneaking into our house. After a couple days of this one being plugged in, we noticed a definite decrease in this. By now we don’t really have an issue with them with just this one plug, but I think adding the two others strategically placed in our home will speed up the process and cover any wandering flying insects we don’t want to be annoyed by. Definitely recommend!!

Worked well then stopped
Worked really well for 7 months but discovered this morning that the lights no longer work. They are LEDs so not like they're "burned out." It's not attracting fruit flies anymore. I feel like it should last longer than that.
