I have not experienced any signal degradation while using these with my Hauppauge USB TV tuners. They are more convenient to use than traditional splitters in specific use cases.

have 2 inputs you need to connect ? this is a really easy, seems "lossless" device.. now i dont have ultra high speed internet, more in the 150-200mbs range. so for Me, i see no downside in speeds. if you are ultra high speed ?? no clue if it would affect or not.

using this splitter allows 2 recorders to download and record using 1 indoor antenna. works great.

I needed to add a split a coax feed in a cabinet with limited space. Using a traditional splitter and normal coax cables would have taken too much space since the minimum cable is usually at least 3 feet long. Centered between the two devices, its cables reached both devices easily and kept the clutter down.

Needed a longer splitter. Sent this one back unopened.

I wanted a splitter so I could still connect my antenna to the TV while having it connected to Tablo as well. I will still use my TV'S built in Tuner when I watch OTA in the living room and can use Tablo for DVR and viewing on other devices/tvs in the house. My other rooms TV's have indoor antennas connected but don't pick up all the channels that my outdoor antenna gets. Now I can get all those channels on the Living room TV whole also sending sognal to Tablo for DVR and other rooms TVs. Much better than having to makebor find short cables for traditional coax y splitter.

I use this to connect my antenna to an old HDHomeRun, which has two coax connections for its two tuners (newer models use a single coax connection for all tuners). The construction of the splitter seems good, and the coax cables seemed thick and sturdy. I didn't notice any loss of reception by using this (the HDHomeRun Config GUI app makes it easy to see the current Signal Strength, Signal Quality, and Symbol Quality of over-the-air reception, so any drop in signal strength would have been immediately seen). This sort of splitter was way more convenient than getting a regular TV splitter along with additional cables. I'll probably order more of these when I need to split other connections.

First I have crappy internet. I am also a cord cutter, so I do not have satellite TV, can't get cable even if I wanted it. Usually my internet, third reseller broadband, is OK for streaming. I recently got a Tablo as I needed to get some OTA channels for sports. This works fine unless the internet is on the fritz. This little unit allowed me to split the signel and have OTA tv without internet by not going through the Tablo. I know, I could have hooked the antenna directly to the TV, but I wanted the DVR functionality for recording, without having to unhook and hook up the antenna between the Tablo and the TV. Especially if late at night and the wife is up and the internet goes down.

The product quality is fine and it works without signal loss. However, the channels that you are going to watch on both TVs/receivers must be at the same polarity (H or V). Otherwise, the second cable will lose the signal. Considering its price, you better buy LNB with twin input which will be at the same price as this or cheaper and it will work fine in all cases.
