Instructions were obviously translated incorrectly from a different language and after putting the battery in, they did not walk you through putting the phone back together. As a result, it took me far longer to put the parts together than it should have and I tore an essential piece, making the connection from the phone to the screen impossible. Pictures were also blurry and used the wrong phone as an example.

It took less than a month for this battery to start dying as quickly as the one I replaced. Waste of money.

My iPhone XS is a little over four years old. I plan on trading it in for a new iPhone in September. T mobile has been having a promotion that gives your phone $350-$400 trade in value. I decided in the meantime I could spend 20 bucks and buy this battery. OMG. After my husband replaced the battery, a message on my iPhone popped up saying it does not recognize this battery due to it may be non-genuine part. All of a sudden I realize that I just screwed myself. I probably lost my trade-in value of my phone. I cannot confirm, but I definitely do not recommend anyone to buy a non-genuine part if you consider trading in your phone in the future. Worst yet, My husband spent 3.5 hours changing this battery. He is very handy and used to be in IT. He even cut his hand (bleeding) doing this. And the old iPhone battery has smoke smell coming out ( so dangerous ). I personally had replaced batteries for older models before it was not this bad. I would NOT recommend anybody to do this themselves. Also we were not able to put back the last screw, I think the tool they gave was worn out after using it.

I plan on installing this battery in my iPhone XS in a few days or so. I’m still using the original battery which have more than served its purposes. It has a great amount of milliamperes and I have no doubt of its capabilities. I did review the supplied set of instructions and they seem well written and illustrated. I have done battery changes in the past and the lot seems to have come well supplied with all the necessary tools for a successful battery installation. I will revisit this review in the future if there are any negatives to report. So far, so good.

The battery was pretty bad at a full charge it only lasted 2 hours

came with 65% battery life. Would not charge after being installed. very disappointed.
