7" Capacity Rain Gauge with Stainless Steel Mounting Rack Holder, Post Mount Rain Gauge for Yard Garden Outdoor Home (Style A)

It is made of glass with a SS holder and mounted in the garden on a three foot stake (not included) where it gets plenty of sunshine and rain. I wanted a glass one that wouldn't fade like plastic. It will freeze in winter and break if not emptied. The SS holder was a plus so it should not rust. It is large enough where I can read it easily. If needed, I would definitely purchase it again.

Glass with stainless steel mountings. Seems like it will last a long time. Plastic rain gauges do not last.

Purchased this for my Dad and it was easy to install and works well. The numbers are clear and easy to read and the clean up is very easy too. Everything comes with it so it is very easy to use.

I bought this item and was very pleased with the quality, given the price. The water catchers are real glass, and they even sent a spare. I found it easy to read and use, and nice looking. However, the first time we got freezing weather after some rain, the glass shattered. So now I'm only using it in summer and bringing it inside for winter. This is not ideal for such a product.

This item is so simple it's awesome, won't break from UV exposure, but don't drop it as it appears to be glass. Easy to mount with included bracket. Easy to read with decent size numbers on tube. I put a drop or 2 of food dye in tube to help make rain water level Easy to see/read. After reading all the reviews on self emptying rain guages and all the issues, (battery's, units not accurate on readings, location to then have to get to to replace battery's) I figured to get what works 24/7 and has done so for years.

I installed the rain 🌧️ guage and its well built (no plastic), uses stainless steel bracket and installation screws. I installed mine on chain link galvanized fence post rather than wood so it would last. So far no rain yet since my install and this review. 73 GOD bless Earnest K5EWM.

Don't know why I missed previous comments before buying but it shattered the first time we had freezing temps with a little water inside. Very disappointed

Not sure about other countries however just received rain gauge today and I confirm its plastic!! If I had of know that I would have purchased a cheaper one elsewhere!!! Some other reviewers may have been lucky and received glass, beware you will most likely get cheap plastic!! SO disappointing!
