Amazing Pen
I have been wanting this pen for long and finally got one for myself !!! The seller was an excellent one, very receptive and communicated very well.. The pen is a dream. while it writes a little thick for my liking, I love the ink flow. The refill perhaps needs to be changed as I saw a couple of ink blots, but loved the way this can sketch / shade while doodling. If you love brass pens, this one should definitely be in your collection !!!!

When Precision and Durability Mean More to You than Status - Made in Germany
Seriously impressed by the pen and the company. The knurling near the tip fixed the problem machinists had been complaining about at the beginning of the 1900's. Pens and pencils were hard to grip with any amount of oil on your hands. The 600 Series design: Brass body for rigidity and weight. Hexagonal barrel to prevent rolling on a drafting table. Diamond-knurled grip for precise control. Minimal branding—the tool is meant to work, not attract attention. Parker G2 refill compatibility, making refills widely available. Most pens are designed to be comfortable or attractive. The Rotring 600 was designed to be precise. It feels more like a machinist's tool than a writing instrument. Similar to the Bahaus design idea from the 1920's nothing exists solely for appearance. rOtring is a German company founded in 1928. The name comes from the German "Rot Ring" ("red ring"), referring to the distinctive red ring that has been the company's trademark for decades. The company built its reputation on technical drawing instruments—pens used by architects, engineers, draftsmen, and designers, long before CAD became common. The Rotring 600 became especially popular among engineers and architects in the 1980s and 1990s. Even after computer-aided design replaced most drafting work, the pen remained popular because its design translated so well to everyday writing.
