This thing works amazingly well. I can't believe I've spent all these years trying to crimp with channel locks.Super easy to use and a perfect result every time.

Works so much nicer than a standard crimp tool for heat shrink terminals.

Just what I needed

The tool does the job intended. However the crimping dies are held in place by flat head / Phillips combo screws that are fastened VERY tight and one almost stripped out when I tried to remove it. I could just see this being a huge problem with repeated changes of the dies. Measured the screws and found they were standard M4 so I replaced with a couple of Allen Head stainless M4s that I had. Now confident that I can replace the dies whenever I want. They should have put these type Allen or hex head screws on from the start.

Built well enough for everyday use. Priced low enough for one time use.

Perfect for my occasional use. The price is great for the relatively infrequent use I expect to have for it.

This is a well build tool. You wont het a fast-on crimped this good with the old tools. If you plan to make a connection that will last this is the kind to buy. I worked in a wire center where I worked building wire harnesses for huge heavy equipment. This has the ability to swap out the jaws for different connector types. Molex and the small white connectors that slips my memory right now. :)
