First impressions look good..
On first impressions, this Fosmon LP-E8 seems to have been a wise purchase. It seems as well built as the original Canon battery or the other leading brands. It was partially charged from the box and only took a short charge to get it fully charged for its first use. I have to say, the initial results were very good. I was impressed to see that after taking around 150 photos the battery was still showing full on the LCD. Even after copying the photos to PC and then leaving the camera in its bag for a few days the battery shows full. I am going to award this battery with maximum ratings (for now). I am sceptical about longevity having purchased a Duracell LP-08 a few years ago only for it to lose its charge after around 1000 photos. For now though, all seems good for a battery that is around one quarter of the cost of a Canon battery. I will update this review in the future on any changes whilst using this battery!

They're more than worth the price. Never possible to have too much batter power when out on a shoot.

Large Mah
Old battery had blown to the point I struggled getting it out my Canon 550. this battery was delivered fast and was full on receipt.

Replaement battery for Canon Camera
Bought this replacement for our Canon digital camera. Fitted perfectly charged quickly and is working fine. Time will tell if it regarding longevity and ability to hold a charge. Arrived within 2 days.

Cheap but doesn't last
The battery is cheap but do not expect it to last long. I used it in my Canon EOS 600D for about a year before it started to discharge rather quickly and a few months later it would only hold its charge for a few days. I would have preferred to pay more for something that lasts longer. I would not recommend it.
