Great and easy to release
Hi Folks. These SM-SH56 cleats from Shimano work fine and are indeed easier to release. Until now I've used the unidirectional model, but started to move to the 56's, knowing that when in a hurry I can bail the pedal without hesitation. I've had a few falls and scares and are no longer young, so these clips keep me safe and confident. Easy to install, stout, well constructed. Recommended.

Exactly what I needed for a better riding experience!
After using regular SPD clips for years, I discovered that these quick release versions exist by stumbling upon an online video. The quick release but stable design have served me well in cycling class as well as out on the trail. Can't recommend these enough for an quicker release that can keep you from falling over with a sudden stop!

Looks good... I'll try tomorrow how this MULTI RELEASE work, hopefully better than the regular cleats... 🤔... Blacks ones are old ones...

They fit good
Ordered these for my spinning shoes to use in the gym. My shoes came with the Delta Cleat so I had to change it. They came with the wrench and they were super easy to put on. YouTube a video on the proper way to put them on and you're good to go.

Good cleats, almost too easy to unclip
These cleats really do release easily, moreso than standard cleats. They are about as easy as my road bike Speedplay pedals.

love these but surprised they do not come with mounting instructions. can find instructions on the net I suppose. but they used to come with instructions. anyway I like these a lot. everything I have is SPD.

Shimano is best
Dont get off brands, shimano fits better and clips in better in my opinion.
