Fude Brush Pen, Tsumiho (XFL2U)

Just received the pen. It is an awesome one. One mention though - I saw people were expecting this to be similar with a felt tip, but it isn't. It is a 100% brush tip which means you will have normal discontinued line here and there. But that's the beauty of it :) gives originality to your work/writing. I bought this for my brush lettering and it is awesome :) I really love it and I will definitely buy another one in the future. Also, not sure it's refillable - when you buy it, you will find that little red circle around the middle which prevent the ink to come to the nib - once you open the pen make sure you remove the red circle so that the ink will get to the nib(very clever idea for protecting the quality of it). If someone knows if this is refillable and how you do it, I would be so happy to find that out :)

A very nice brush pen x after lots of deliberation I chose this brush pen, of course I don't know what the others are like but I am considering trying some to get the best one, however this one is going to be very high on the list I am sure. It is comfortable in the hand, lightweight and ridged for good grip. Brush is mid size, very neatly pointed and shaped. Ink is smooth and dries very quickly, you must make slow strokes to ensure even coverage or the ink is patchy. Very fast delivery and secure packaging.

Quite good but not stiff enough for fine work. Ink seems a bit thin, but not transparent, as long as you don't move the brush too fast.

I bought it as a gift for my son. He started to study writing kanji as soon as he unpacked it. Now he can't stop writing :) Strongly recommended.

Amazing quality product by Pentel as expected. Please mind that if you are buying this for drawing, it is a professional tool that requires slow pace and a lot of control on hand movement. I've been practicing using ink pens for the last 4 years before deciding to purchase this product. And I must say after aquiring the proper skills and combining it with a great product like this gives a very satisfying output.

Die Lieferung direkt aus Japan war innerhalb von 2 Wochen da. Die japanische Anleitung zur Inbetriebnahme befindet sich auf der Rückseite der Verpackung und ist durch Piktogramme ergänzt, die vollkommend ausreichend sind. Vor der ersten Verwendung den roten Ring entfernen (Gewinde in die andere Richtung als gewöhnt drehen) und die Tinte nach vor rinnen lassen, eventuell durch Druckausübung auf den Tank etwas nachhelfen. Der Pinselstift kann mit herkömmlicher Tinte nachgefüllt werden, sofern man eine entsprechende Einfüllhilfe hat, ist frickelig aber machbar. Liegt toll in der Hand, die Spitze ist extrem weich, viel mehr Pinsel als Stift. Die Strichbreite kann stark variiert werden, unter anderem sehr gut für Kalligraphie geeignet. Macht in der Verwendung viel Freude: die Spitze franst nicht aus, kein Rinnen oder Tropfen. Absolut empfehlenswert.
