Too noisy
The media could not be loaded. About a month later: I love everything about this except the noise it makes when oscillating. It’s on level flooring and low fan speed in the video. I am returning it.Original review: I’ll live in an attic that has been converted into an apartment. I love the natural lights and don’t want a window unit I’ve only had this fan for less than a half hour but it cooled nice space down 4° in less than 10 minutes I’ll update in a few weeks on how I’d like it right now. Very optimistic.

For an inexpensive unit, it does what it's supposed to
We bought this unit to simply add more air flow. While air air conditioning does a good job, having the air move around on 115 degree days certainly helps. This unit works fine so far and everything works as it should. I like the fact one can add water or ice to the top in that compartment. The hoses connecting to the pump had virtually no extra length at all, so, limited movement pulling out the bottom water container. The company could have allowed for a little more hose length, but maybe they felt they needed to save themselves $.50. Although well secured to the base the unit seems to flex a bit from the base. It will rock back and forth a bit without the base moving, Is that part of the design? That doesn't affect it's functionality, nor does it wobble while rotating.Bottom line, it functions well and does what it's supposed to do. I would say it's worth the money.

This is not at all an A/C and is no better than a standard fan
I bought this because I was wanting something close to A/C for my apartment. I live in an older building without A/C and with kinda thin walls (although it does have double-paned/well-sealed windows). I have been tracking the difference in temperatures between my apartment inside and outside for a while (I have thermometers inside and outside my place that I check throughout the day). Before this, I was just keeping my place a good temperature by opening my windows whenever it was cooler outside and closing them whenever it was warmer outside. This mostly worked, and generally my apartment was a few degrees cooler than outside. But there had been a recent heatwave that meant that even though my apartment was cooler than outside, it was still 80+ degrees inside since it'd been almost 90 degrees outside every day.So when prime day was happening, I figured I'd snag a deal on an A/C unit so I wasn't melting during the next heat wave.Well, the unit might be "fine" as a fan, but it is genuinely not functional at all as an A/C of any sort. It does not cool my apartment whatsoever. We aren't even in a heatwave, but I decided to test out if my unit would function to cool my apartment down at all.... It has actually HEATED UP while using the unit. I mean, it's a massive motor running constantly. It doesn't matter that I put only ice water from a pitcher in my fridge and a TON of ice/ice packs into the machine. The temperature on the unit AND in my apartment goes UP while I'm using it. Meanwhile, if I turn it off and just open the windows, it does down again. It's actually over FIFTEEN DEGREES hotter inside than outside right now (80 degrees Fahrenheit inside to 64 degrees outside). It was a cool day all day today so there is no reason it should be that hot inside. I wasn't even home half the day so it wasn't me warming up the apartment. The only thing was I had this unit on so I could test it out.So basically, it does NOT cool your place down. I mean, it feels nice if you're standing directly in front of i, just like with a fan. But the ambient heat off this thing is insane. It's no better than a regular fan, and in fact, I'd argue it's worse than one since it gives off so much heat. Don't waste your time or money.

Good cooler
I like it. The wet cooling system is large to make an impact. So far I like the performance

Not real cool
The air is not very cool that comes out. We didn't use it much though, we got it at the end of summer. Even with frozen pks and icecubes in the cold water it only blew out cool air for about 45-60 mins.

Cools good
Basically an high tech swamp cooler for inside. Just freeze the cold packs, drop them in the top, pour in water and you have cool air. Reservoir is large, so your not adding water constantly. It has three speeds, all of which are quiet. Multiple settings to customize your comfort. It's sleek design fits in the corner and can oscillate or not to direct air flow. This is a nice alternative when your AC fails or you just want to economize. Cools workshop or outbuildings.
