Piano Tuning Pin Removal Tool Power Piano Tuning Pin Socket with Ratchet Star Head

I used this for dismantling a piano. I hoped to use it for loosening the 203 piano pins. However it is a socket screwed onto a metal post and it unscrews off the post if used to loosen the pins. I bought a hand tool for turning piano pins also and that works great if slowly. I have tried tightening the socket on the post and if I loosen the pins nearly all the way with the hand tool then this works for a little while before unscrewing itself. So it can only be used one way which is to tighten the pins.

Imagine my surprise when I buy a tool meant for removing pegs from a piano, and on the first peg I try, instead of unscrewing the peg from the piano, the silver part unscrews from the black part! Literally applying force in the direction needed to take out the pegs is exactly how you disassemble a tool that should really be one piece. That said, it would probably tighten pegs just fine, but that’s not what anyone is buying this for. You could maybe save it with the strongest lock tight or you could weld the two pieces together, I however am just going to return these two useless pieces of metal. I guess it’s what I get for not looking st reviews.

Absolutely garbage, it broke within 8 pins.

It worked for 15 keys. After 15 keys, it's use caused it to be stripped. The star head became round. It did not work after that. This is a low quality product.

worst piece of junk. I’ve ever had very disappointed took out three pens the insides stripped out just a piece of junk probably from China. I’ll never order anything from them again.
